UPDATED: Ford Philippines Reveals 2015 Everest Specs, Model Variants, and Pricing

UPDATE 1: The brochure is now available below the break (5/24).

Breaking news! Stop the presses. And stop that SUV purchase for that matter—well, at least until September. Ford Philippines has finally unveiled the Philippine specifications, model variants, and pricing of the all-new 2015 Everest at its dynamic launch. After its global reveal in Beijing, its regional launch at the Bangkok International Motor Show and MIAS, you think you have everything you need to know about the Ford Everest. Except for the price. So, allow us to enlighten you. Read on.

Cutting to the chase, it comes with six variants (officially, five with the final one being an optional Premium package):
  • Ambiente 2.2 4x2 M/T: P 1,339,000
  • Ambiente 2.2 4x2 A/T: P 1,399,000
  • Trend 2.2 4x2 A/T: P 1,539,000
  • Titanium 2.2 4x2 A/T: P 1,639,000
  • Titanium 3.2 4x4 A/T: P 1,899,000
  • Titanium Premium 3.2 4x4 A/T: P 1,999,000
The optional Premium package contains the following additional equipment:
  • HID projector-type headlamps with auto-leveling and headlamp washer
  • LED daytime running lights
  • 8-way power adjustable passenger seat
  • Power Fold third-row seat
  • Power Liftgate
  • 240-volt inverter
  • Panoramic Moonroof
  • Heads-up Display
  • Adaptive Cruise Control
  • Lane Keeping Aid
  • Collision Mitigation
  • Active Park Assist
From this alone, it’s clear that Ford Philippines is undercutting the recently revealed Thailand market pricing, a great strategy given we have a more robust lineup of SUVs from the EcoSport, Escape, Explorer, and Expedition. With this pricing, the Everest comfortably sits in-between the North American-sourced Escape and Explorer.

With a design led by Ford’s Asia-Pacific region design and product development teams, the Everest rides on the nameplate’s reputation for being a tough and rugged go-anywhere SUV. Now, it adds refinement, smart features, and unparalleled safety to make it the new benchmark in mid-sized SUVs.

It features 225-mm ground clearance and 800-mm water wading depth allowing it to tackle even the most challenging terrain. In addition, it comes with an intelligent four-wheel drive system with an integrated Terrain Management System (TMS) and Torque on Demand (via an Active Transfer Case). It also has traction control and hill descent control as well. Furthermore, it has an Electronic Locking Rear Differential.

Inside, SYNC comes as standard equipment (SYNC 2 on the higher-end models and SYNC 1 on the base Ambiente) with USB and Bluetooth connectivity. Models with SYNC 2 come with an 8-inch touchscreen and a first-in-its-class 10-speaker sound system. It also comes with Active Noise Cancellation.

Under the hood, the Everest comes with either the 2.2-liter Duratorq 4-cylinder engine with 160 horsepower and 385 Nm of torque or the 3.2-liter Duratorq 5-cylinder engine with 200 horsepower and 470 Nm of torque. All gearboxes, whether manual or automatic, feature six forward gears.

Ford dealerships nationwide are ready to take your orders (hurry up, as waiting lists are growing as high as 100 units per dealership). Deliveries start in September. It’s available in seven colors: Cool White, Black Mica, Sunset Red, True Red, Metropolitan Gray, Blue Reflex, and Aluminum Metallic.

    8. MU-X? and trailblazer? whaaaahahaha. you should have your eyes checked. the lines on those cars goes down. from the head lights to the grills. the everest has straight lines. makes its much bolder looking and better.

    5. The China-made Ford Everest will be powered by a four-cylinder 2.0 turbo petrol engine. The Jiangling-Ford joint venture is currently making the Ford Transit and Ford Transit Classic. The Ford Explorer and the Ford Transit Connect will be added to the line-up in the near future, with the Everest apparently arriving in 2015.

Nakapag reserve na kasi ako sa MUx 4x2 LSA (no.4 in line) and im tempted to pull out my reservation and go for the everest pero mixed reaction kasi natanggap ko sa friends and family maraming nag sasabi stick to mux meron din sa everest kasi maganda daw talaga pag ford. Hope someone can help me

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. If you compare the specs of the 4x2 LS-A with the Ambiente A/T (or even the M/T), marami pa din kulang sa Everest (obviously it's the base model) you'll get more with the LS-A @ 1.358M.

Dati nung nilabas concept ng Everest naisip ko dapat naghintay na lang, but considering the features and equipment for the price, ok lang pala kahit nabili na namin LS-A. Plus I've read issues regarding Ford's diesel engines sa Ranger, sa Isuzu wala pa except for the 3rd row seat belt recall.

    3. Two of my co workers were tempted to buy isuzu. Guess what, after one week, back to casa. Reason, electronic gremlims. Casa could not solve it. They offered to replace the unit but my co-workers opted for reimbursement and bought toyota.
Sorry, but the trouble with isuzu is that they are better of with agricultural chassis and control - ala crosswind. Strap on with some electronics and its totally incompatible with its antiquated everything.
You wanna try an asial diesel AUV (asian utility vehicle) good luck.

    4. Kmsta po ung power ng mux?

  23. Is the ford everest better than MU-X and Sorento? Thoughts on this guys. Thanks

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Sorento is an SUV, a global vehicle.with modern ecerything. Mux and everest are AUV ( asian utility vehicle) only for the third world countries, with agricultural chassis and everything, but for pinas purposes, car dealers make 100% profit by pricing these relic auvs and diesel twice the actual market price outside pinas.

      Delete
    2. I was an owner of a 4x4 Kia Sorento. I will be exchanging my Sorento because i have reliability issues with its 4x4 and fuel consumption. My Sorento serve me well but it is time to let her go.

      Delete
Basta gumagamit ng phrase na mux and everest are auv only for third world with agricultural chasis ang everything malamang hindi nagbabasa yan at puro perception lang pinopost. Hindi pa ata nakasakay ng mux.

  25. mga sir, itong moonroof ba ng new everest ay pwedeng buksan para makapasok ang hangin or ito ba ay sealed and purposely for panoramic viewing only? thanks kung may sasagot

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. The Panoramic roof can be opened for your pleasure

      Delete
I.m planning to buy the titanium 4x4 sana..

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. 4x4 Titanium is a good choice. if your don't like the sunroof, you should get the 1.899M variant but without the adaptive cruise control which is super cool.

      Delete

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. JP mukhang walang moonroof brother, but we have the same taste...will possibly buy the 2.2L AT Titanium, it seems the most bang for the buck variant. I have 2.2 L MT Ranger wildtrak...and it is not underpower kaya ok na yang 2.2L AT Titanium...sana lang wag nila akong daanin na naman sa DI...they have trick me once...never gonna trick me twice.

1st choice ko to Titanium 4X2, 2nd choice the upcoming Fortuner - pang next year ko!

    ReplyDelete
  36. Sa mga nagtatanong if ano ang FC ng Everest based sa test ni Sir Uly sa Thai:

There’s also ample in-gear acceleration available. During this drive, the Everest 3.2 Titanium 4WD did 8.1 km/L while the 2.2 Titanium 2WD did 12.82 km/L, both in light, urban traffic with some off-roading.

    http://www.carguide.ph/2015/07/first-drive-2015-ford-everest-32.html

I opted to buy the MU-X instead.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. That is correct, base on my experience, even when fully loaded, ranger can do its job well. no need to worry about under power

      Delete
    2. Thanks po sa reply. Final na po kukuha kame ng all new everest trend this dec first week. Last question na po. Dohc po ba ang 2.2 duratorq engine? Tnx po sa info

  38. I am choosing between the All-new MUX 3.0L and the 2.2L Titanium 4x2 AT na Ford Everest. Which is better?

    ReplyDelete
  39. Hi. Wala akong alam sa engines or anu man tungkol sa sasakyan. Anu po ba ang magandang suv for new driver. Thank you po

    ReplyDelete
  40. Generally speaking, pag sasakyan ang pinag uusapan mas reliable ang Japanese brands kaysa American brands. Just my 2 cents.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Mga sir, pa tulong naman po on what to get. Ford Everest Trend 2.2L AT or Toyota Fortuner 2016 2.4 G Diesel AT.

    ReplyDelete
  42. mag sir tanong lang ano pagkakaiba ng ford everest 2.2L Titanium 2015 model sa 2016 model? tsaka panu mo masasabi na 2016 model nga sya on the spot?

    ReplyDelete
  43. Bitter SUV owners be like.. "Kakabili ko lang ng SUV ko na (MUX, Trailblazer, Montero, Fortuner, etc.) sayang! Astig yung Everest na bago mura pa" bwahahahaha! Everest has the cheapest deals on the market today.. and the perfomance of everest will be tested on the ranger...
