Enkei Wheels Joins Roster Of Wheel Gallery Brands

Wheel Gallery, Inc., one of the leading aftermarket wheel distributors in the country, officially welcomes Enkei Wheels to its wide array of aftermarket wheel brands. YHI Philippines, a subsidiary of YHI International Limited, officially appointed Wheel Gallery as its Enkei wheel distributor in the Philippines.

“We at YHI Philippines are very delighted to forge another meaningful partnership with Wheel Gallery, Inc. From years of doing business with Nitto Tires, we are now happy to strengthen our collaboration with one of the most respected aftermarket wheel distributors in the country for another top-notch Japanese aftermarket brand, this time, Enkei,” said YHI Philippines General Manager and Country Head Jason Delloso.

YHI Philippines, Inc., the importer of Enkei Wheels in the country, has been business partners with Wheel Gallery, Inc. for more than a decade in bringing top-quality brands to the local automotive aftermarket.

“Wheel Gallery, Inc. and Sam have been more than just associates for YHI Philippines, they’ve been our dearest partners for years, sharing the same dedication in offering quality aftermarket products to consumers,” Delloso added.

Backed by its high-quality craftsmanship proven through its strong motorsports heritage, Enkei has been trusted by some of the biggest automotive brands in the world as their OEM (original equipment manufacturer) for wheels. Enkei Wheels has been known for adopting the MAT, or Most Advanced Technology, process of manufacturing, which results in producing wheels comparable to forged wheels in terms of weight and strength.

In the MAT process, the wheel rim placed on a mandrel is spun and rolled. This spinning process creates “metal flow” in the metal structure of the aluminum alloy, which is like the metal property seen in the forging process.

Other wheels are done using the Durville die casting method. In the Durville process, molten aluminum alloy is poured into the mold from its inner rim side, with the disc side facing downward. The alloy is rapidly quenched and solidifies, starting at the disc side, creating a finer metallic structure, significantly enhancing tensile strength, yield strength and elongation.

Sam Liuson, president of Wheel Gallery, Inc., shared his memories of the brand as a car enthusiast and now as its appointed distributor in the country. “From my early years in the late 1980s, when I first began customizing cars, Enkei has been more than just a wheel brand to me—it has been a symbol of performance, refined style, and elegant yet sporty designs. I remember admiring timeless designs like the Apache IV, which to this day remain etched in my memory as a classic design in automotive culture.”

The Wheel Gallery head honcho also promised his commitment to bring the brand to heights in the country. “Together [Wheel Gallery and YHI Philippines], we will ensure that every enthusiast in our country experiences the pride, thrill, and quality that only Enkei can deliver,” said Liuson.

Wheel Gallery is bringing in wheel models from every series in the Enkei lineup, namely, the Racing Series, Tuning Series, Performance Series, and Truck & SUV.

Aside from the popular Enkei wheel models in the likes of the RPF1, NT03, and RC-T5, Wheel Gallery, Inc. is also bringing in the newest Enkei models, Trail-Cross and Adventurer.

Enkei off-road models like the RPT1, PDT1, SC59, and XC02, among many others, are now available in the country as well. Also, other Racing Series models like the PFM1, GTC01RR, and GTC02 can now be purchased locally via Wheel Gallery.

Alongside new wheel models, Enkei Wheels Philippines also introduced the new SBC (special brilliant coating) color finish, available in select wheels and sizes. What makes the new finish special is that it features a chrome-like finish without the weight and high maintenance of chrome plating, achieved by using synthetic coating.
