Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) today detailed a strategic evolution of its dealership network aimed at expanding reach, elevating service quality, and reinforcing its commitment to the customer experience.
Effective January 1, 2026, dealerships currently under the management of ACMobility will transition to the Gateway Group and the Borromeo Motoring Group (BMG), both of whom are rich with automotive retail experience.
The Gateway Group will operate Honda Cars Makati, Cebu, Negros, Cagayan De Oro, and Alabang which was announced earlier this year while the Borromeo Motoring Group (BMG) will manage Honda Cars Bacoor, Pasig, Mandaue, and Iloilo.
On top of the appointment of the new dealer principals, HCPI also announces the plan to establish a new subsidiary which will operate Honda Cars Shaw. Through this initiative, Honda will elevate the overall customer experience across all dealerships nationwide.
HCPI President, Ms. Rie Miyake, expressed immense confidence in these new developments. “In a combined effort, the new subsidiary and our new and existing dealer partners will drive forward and ensure that Honda’s profound dedication to customer satisfaction is fully realized.”
HCPI will secure approval from the government regulatory bodies and once approved, this strategic move is expected to begin in early 2026.

a subsidiary to handle the Shaw branch? :O
ReplyDeleteI wonder how that will go?
Change is always welcome especially for Honda that sells overpriced cars and vehicles.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't expect any changes in pricing, prices come from Honda Cars PH itself, not from dealership operators. And generally more expensive naman na talaga ang Honda even in other countries
DeleteIn the US they're cheap
DeleteBMG operates a lot of Ford and Mazda dealerships nationwide aside from owning several motorcycle dealerships..They used to be local distributor of KTM motorcycles for a year but Bajaj Philippines took it as they're the new owner of KTM.
ReplyDeleteEvolution? Nice try... Ayala is dropping honda its that simple
ReplyDeleteAyala and Yuchengo Groups still own half the controlling stakes of Honda Cars Philippines
DeleteHonda owns 74%. Minority stake lng everyone else so even if mag combine sila it's not anywhere near controlling stakes.
