The YSS DTG-Plus is a suspension system that has the perfect balance of daily comfort and spirited driving.

It is a premium upgrade from the OEM stock suspension. It increases vehicle stability and handling as well as reduces the vehicle’s body roll when cornering, which results in a safer and more confident drive. It features a 7-Way Adjustable Twin-Tube Gas Shock Technology for smoother damping or less bouncing motion from the vehicle. Its 7-Way compression adjustment allows you to tune the suspension from softness to stiffness to suit your driving style.

YSS also designed the DTG-Plus to deliver enhanced stability during highway cruising since SUVs and pickup trucks have a high center of gravity, which could make the ride unstable when changing lanes at expressway speed.

The XSport suspension system incorporates a motorsport-inspired engineering that has been tested for race track and road use. This product is optimized for sharp cornering, giving drivers a surefooted driving feel, which results in a more stable and performance-oriented drive.

The XSport suspension system is developed by YSS’s engineering team under the direction of its Director of Research & Development (R&D) unit, Harrie Essens, who is a highly regarded suspension specialist. Essens has a rich motorsport background as he developed championship-winning vehicles in both circuit racing and rallying across Europe, America, and Asia.

Some of Essens’ accomplishments include 1989 Indy 500 Champion,1990 Ford Sierra Off-Road Rally Runner-up, 2001-2004 Paris-Dakar Rally 1st Runner Up, and 2006-2009 European Rallycross Champion, among others.

His technical knowledge of suspension systems is applied to the development and design of YSS suspension systems such as the XSport.
