2021 Aston Martin DBX Arrives In Manila For P 24.5M

Two years after its global debut, Aston Martin’s first-ever SUV, the 2021 DBX finally arrives in Manila. It signals a new era for Aston Martin by combining exceptional performance, style, and usability in a segment previously unexplored by the brand.

Built on a specialized platform, the Aston Martin DBX’s structure is light and incredibly stiff with a curb weight of just 2,245 kilograms. Right from the get-go, it was designed for maximum room in the cabin, while putting a premium on refinement for both front and rear occupants.

The 2021 DBX rides on adaptive air suspension which can raise the ride height by 45 mm or lower it by 50 mm. The triple chamber air springs can vary its spring stiffness giving both comfort and handling prowess.

Powering the DBX is a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 shared with the DB11, but tuned to meet the specific needs of this model. Its output is impressive—550 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque. The engine is paired to a 9-speed automatic with all-wheel drive. An active center differential and electronic rear limited slip differential allows torque to be moved precisely both fore and aft. The DBX can go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 291 km/h.

Aston Martin’s first five-seater model is designed to fit the world’s 99th percentile male and 5th percentile female. The “bridged” center console brings about an architectural centerpiece while adding flexible storage underneath. Aside from class-leading interior space, it has 632 liters of trunk space with a 40/20/40 split-folding rear seat.

A contemporary range of exquisite wood, composite, and metal veneers ensure that the cabin can be tailored to any taste. But framing these materials is an abundance of technology. A 10.25-inch TFT screen sits elegantly flush in the center console, while a huge 12.3-inch TFT screen provides a wealth of information to the driver. Apple CarPlay comes as standard, as does a 360-degree camera system and ambient lighting that offers 64 different colors in two zones.

The 2021 Aston Martin DBX arrives in Manila for P 24.5 million although this variant is already inclusive of several options. Aston Martin buyers can spec their DBX to suit their tastes and preferences, and the final pricing can go up or down depending on these options. Aston Martin Manila plans to sell around five of these ultra-luxury SUVs this year.

you know at that much money you could get the top of the line Range Rover, a Jaguar I-Pace, and probably another luxury car and still have excess money to buy other things :P

Or a decent condo and a luxury car or two :D
