Volkswagen PH Has Heard You, Lowers Price Of 2021 Multivan Kombi (w/ Specs)

Volkswagen Philippines has heard you. After releasing a P 3.650-million tentative price earlier this month, Volkswagen has released the finalized price for its new premium MPV, the Multivan Kombi. And surprise: it’s now made more affordable.

Released just today, the 2021 Multivan Kombi is priced at P 3,595,000 for the monocolor version and P 3,640,000 for the bi-color version.

The Philippine-spec Multivan Kombi packs a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. The 330 TDI engine makes 150 horsepower at 3,250 to 3,750 rpm and 340 Nm of torque at 1,500 to 3,000 rpm. This engine is mated to a 7-speed dual clutch automatic with a coasting feature.

Available in just one variant—the Multivan Kombi Highline is packed with features such as LED headlights and taillights, 17-inch alloy wheels, and dual electric sliding doors and tailgate. Inside, it has full-grain Nappa leather seats, dual swiveling captain’s seats, a multi-function table, and a three-zone climate control system.

For tech and convenience, it has an Active Info Display (full LCD instrument cluster), an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system called Discover Media with GPS navigation, Wireless CarPlay, Android Auto, and Park Assist system. It also has 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, stability control with Crosswind Assist, and Park Distance Control (PDC) with a rear camera.

The 2021 Multivan Kombi comes initially in three colors: Black Pearlescent, Reflex Silver, and Reflex Silver/Starlight Blue Metallic. This will be followed by Reflex Silver/Fontana Red (pictured).

Volkswagen Philippines will also offer on order the following colors: Candy White, Mojave Beige, Fontana Red, Bay Leaf Green, Ravenna Blue, Copper Bronze, Starlight Blue, Indium Gray, Reflex Silver/Indium Gray, Candy White/Bay Leaf Green, Mojave Beige/Black Pearl, and Candy White/Copper Bronze.

All Volkswagen Multivan Kombi will come with a 2-year warranty with unlimited mileage as well as 2-year spare parts warranty with unlimited mileage. Like all other Volkswagen models, it requires just a once-a-year visit for PMS.

  2. Volkswagen Cars will never be saleable in the market because it's very expensive and even if they have reasonable price as to the case of the new T-Cross the specs features and power train is No Match for Chinese Cars Turbo charged Engine like Geely CoolRay, MG Rx5 and Chery Tiggo7 Pro. VW distributor Ayala does not know how to market it's product. They may have the Santana sedan to compete against the Vios, City and Mirage but they Lack marketing campaign for model awareness.
