Changan PH Reveals 5-Year PMS Cost

Yes, investing in your own car is a smart and rewarding move. But, to fully enjoy the benefits, know that the expenses don’t end with the down payment. For the next five years and beyond, you need to plan for recurring costs, like the monthly auto loan amortization, annual LTO registration fees, fuel, parking fees, car insurance premium, toll fees, and car repair and maintenance.

Mindful planning will help you cope, and this includes doing a bit of research when it comes to its preventive maintenance service or PMS.

For Changan owners, this means being backed up by their Changan Vital 5 aftersales program. As its name implies, it has five components:
  1. Changan’s 5-Year or 150,000km Warranty (whichever comes first). For the first three years (or 100,000 km) it even covers important parts that are usually overlooked in other basic offers, like painting and rubber parts.
  2. With Changan Fastlane, two certified Changan technicians simultaneously service your vehicle in 60 minutes flat or it’s free.
  3. Changan Veloservice is the first in the industry to boldly guarantee 100 percent availability of PMS parts or you get them for free.
  4. Changan Pace-setter provides three years of 24/7 care, to include roadside assistance towing service and new benefits: acts of nature, personal, and medical assistance. Just dial the 24/7 hotline, +63 2 8459 4767.
  5. And, with Changan Chat, Changan’s Artificial Intelligence Agent (CAIA), will quickly connect you to a team of technicians and parts experts for ‘round-the-clock assistance.
Going back to preventive maintenance service, Changan Philippines says they now offer one of the lowest ownership costs in the country. Moreover, PMS intervals are locked in every six months or 10,000 kilometers (whichever comes first). Moreover, prices are standardized across all Changan dealerships.

Check out the PMS pricing matrix below, but putting things into perspective, this means it costs as low as 88 cents (P 0.88) per kilometer (assuming an annual mileage of 20,000 per year) to keep a Changan serviced for five years. Even at its most expensive, it is just P 1.38. That is more money for fuel, parking, or even road trips!
  • Changan Alsvin 1.4 MT - P 0.88 per kilometer
  • Changan Alsvin 1.5 DCT - P 1.05 per kilometer
  • Changan CS35 Plus 1.4 TGDI DCT - P 1.36 per kilometer
  • Changan CS75 Plus 1.5 TGDI 6AT - P 1.38 per kilometer
  • Changan CS95 2.0 TGDI 6 AT - P 1.29 per kilometer
