Honda Shows Off All-New 2023 CR-V's Premium Sporty Interior

Mark your calendars: the all-new, 2023 Honda CR-V is launching on July 12. After releasing an official teaser last month (a week after it was leaked in China), the carmaker is now showing what the interior looks like for the first time.

As expected, the all-new compact SUV gains the interior design theme first introduced in the all-new Civic and North American HR-V (global ZR-V).

From the single teaser, it’s very obvious that it’ll share the same full-width aluminum mesh treatment that’s made the Civic’s interior instantly recognizable. It also appears to share the same three-spoke steering wheel, “floating” infotainment screen, and center stack.

Upon closer inspection, there are some small differences though. For example, the storage bin in front of the shifter looks bigger, while the drive mode/EPB module has now been placed beside the gear select which has, thankfully, gone back to a traditional gear lever.

Among the features you can spot here are the wireless device charger as well as a Bose sound system.

So far, Honda has kept mechanical details of the all-new CR-V secret, but they did confirm that it will arrive with hybrid power. If it’s the same engine shared with the Civic Hybrid, it’s good for 183 horsepower and 315 Nm of torque. The turbocharged 1.5-liter is also expected to continue unchanged.

What do you think of the all-new CR-V?

  2. They continued with that cringey fake front lower vents, eewww. I don't get the obsession with an interim tech like hybrids. Use a proper ICengine, a 1.5L turbo gas & a modern turbo diesel, not that old, underpowered Euro 4 diesel they first used on mid 2000s Euro Civics.

  3. Feels like a raised up version of Civic
