Porsche PH Brings In 2022 Cayenne Turbo GT Super SUV

In celebration of its 20th anniversary, Porsche Philippines introduces the latest and sportiest iteration yet of its flagship SUV: the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT. The third-generation model embodies the Cayenne’s winning formula as the brand’s luxury off-road vehicle that is founded on the qualities of a dynamic sports car and imbued with the signature Porsche sophistication.

The Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT is essentially a sports car in a luxury SUV’s body. It is defined with a unique frontage, enlarged side-cooling air intakes, a contoured carbon roof, black wheel arch extensions, and 22-inch GT Design wheels in Neodyme. Specific to the GT model are carbon side plates that are fitted lengthwise to the roof spoiler and an adaptive extendable rear spoiler lip that increases the downforce by 40 kilograms.

The impeccability of design extends to the interior, with Porsche’s signature luxury highlighted in every aspect. The door-paneling and plush seats are finished in a smooth-touch leather, either in Black or Bordeaux Red. Carbon-fiber trimmings add a sporty contrast to the sophisticated leather detail, while the leather steering wheel and bucket seats with heating option add a premium experience. A novel feature to the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT is the presence of a sport-chronograph clock that sits right in the center of the cabin, atop the dashboard. There is also a red sport-control button on the steering wheel.

The Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT is designed for maximum performance and handling, riding lower than any other Cayenne. Its passive chassis components and active control systems reengineered and optimized for drivability. Its three-chamber air suspension is made to be more rigid, adapted fully by the damper settings of the Porsche Active Suspension Management and the application of the Power Steering Plus and rear-axle steering.

The Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT is the sportiest and most drivable of its class, having proven itself on the track by setting a lap record of 7:38.9 minutes at NĂ¼rburgring Nordschleife, officially bagging the title for the fastest production SUV. Under the hood is a 4.0-liter bi-turbo V8 engine mated to an eight-speed Tiptronic S transmission. This combination produces an output of 640 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque, allowing it the capability reach a maximum speed of 300 km/h and make it to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds. It comes with all available chassis systems and performance tires fitted as a standard, uniquely set-up for superb racetrack capability.

Porsche’s latest is also integrated with technology features. One of which is the Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) active roll stabilization and Porsche Traction Management (PTM) systems that operate with performance-oriented control software. These features are designed to improve roll stability, road-holding, and promote more precise turn-in behavior at higher cornering speeds.

The Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT is dubbed as a “Supersport Utility Vehicle” — and rightly so. It is made for performance, style, and luxury; all key elements in what makes Porsche one of the most resounding names in motorsport. Just as the Cayenne has withstand the test of time for two decades, the Cayenne Turbo GT reinforces the power and innovation that comes with its name, proven by performance on and off the track.
