  1. The 1.6L Gamma II MPi engine is quite reliable. I imagine this plus the manual transmission would probably be reliable for as much as 300k kms (with proper maintenance, of course).

  5. Imported from India? Or Korea? Surprised that they also use the older but more powerful Gamma 1.6 with a traditional 6 speed instead of the Smartstream 1.5 engine with IVT

    1. Made in South Korea that's why it still look like a 2019 car

    2. Imported from Korea, from which the North American and Australian markets also source theirs. They never got the facelift, unlike the one built in India, which has different dimensions to meet tax breaks.

  6. It's not even the facelifted version that was available overseas for a long time already 🤣 clearly these are just old stocks sold as new here lol

    1. Venue is still being sold in Korea. This is better build by koreans

  7. They could have brought in the QXi Venue that is offered in Indonesia and Vietnam because that got a facelift.

    1. Thoese are right hand drive and india import duty is 30%. Makes no sense to bring same car with just minor exterior changes

  8. So the sonet inspired hyundai to bring the venue back. I mean sonet's a best seller of kia so hyundai tries to gamble again with the venue.

  9. Better value than fronx

  10. This 2019 model is a good stop-gap offering before the next-gen Venue comes in a year or less. On the positive side, Hyundai Venue for PH is equipped with some bells and whistles that newer nameplates also have. And the good news here, it is now more competitive before it was withdrawn a few years ago.

    1. Only good thing about it that it uses a 1.6 liter engine and 6 six speed automatic transmission
Its bare especially the GL manual variant without driver side airbag nor ABS in it while the GL automatic variant lack ABS too which is ridiculous

  11. Great pricing compared to the Fronx with a solid and more powerful 1.6L engine to boot

  12. No ABS nor stability control on GL manual and automatic variants and no driver side airbag on the GL manual variant with steel rims
The old Hyundai Creta GLS that HARI sells used to have six airbags and automatic aircon controls.

    1. Stop comparing it to the Suzuki Fronx as the main rivals of the ancient looking Hyundai Venue are the Kia Sonet and Toyota Raize

      Delete
    2. lol suzuki is just a direct copy of the old santa fe

  14. It's a bit powerful having a bigger engine compared to say raize's 1.2 and sonet's 1.5 but it will for sure compromise the fuel efficiency. If only that 1.6 engine's a diesel like the accent's, it'll destroy the competition for sure. Nevertheless, let's see how far this hyundai's another risk last...

    2. Phased out in India due to strict emissions standards required for diesel powered vehicles in India.

  15. This is the Korean made venue not the india made one, i guess they got the Korean version since the import duty is 30% from india. Anyway the korean made one has better quality

    1. Indian version uses newer tech, better exterior design and more engine options
Hyundai Creta from South Korea is stuck using the same specs as the 2019 version

  16. I purchased a new 2023 Hyundai venue. The 1.6 Gamma with both 6 speed manual and automatic is a very reliable auto in both highway and mountainous driving conditions. There is plenty of pickup for passing and a very smooth, comfortable ride. The interior dash design and passenger/storage space is more than adequate. Best of all, 17.9 km p/liter (41 mpg for some westerners). I would highly recommend the Hyundai Venue...Welcome back 👍

  17. Dapat ginawa nilang 7 SRS Airbags. Driver, Passenger, Side, Curtain Shield and Drivers Knee for added safety.

Dapat po maghigpit sa safety standards ang mga vehicle manufacturers in the Philippines pag dating sa safety features. Mandatory po sa lahat yung SRS Airbags Minimum of 6 and Maximum of 10, ABS, EBD, Brake Assist, Vehicle Stability Control, Traction Control, Hill Start Assist and Cruise Control. Kungbaga sa United States of America mahigpit po sila sa safety features.

    1. Hyundai Venue GLS that HARI used sell back then do have 6 airbags.
The ones Hyundai Philippines themselves brought in and selling only got two airbags (1 airbag only for the GL manual transmission variant).

  18. Venue auto transmission is very good compare to cvt for toyota and honda
