Rubbing salt onto the wounds of gas, diesel, and even self-charging hybrid owners, ACMobility will be offering free EV charging at all ACMobility EV Charging Hubs nationwide from Friday, March 27 to Sunday, 29, 2026.
Ahead of the 2026 Holy Week travel season, the “Charge Free. Travel Further” campaign supports one of the busiest travel periods of the year making long distance EV travel more accessible, convenient, and worry-free.
The promo is valid at all operational ACMobility EV Charging Hubs that are visible on the Evro app. It is open to all PHEV and EV owners with vehicles compatible with ACMobility chargers (typically using Type 2, GBT, and CCS2) and with the Evro app installed.
There is no cap for the charging duration or amount. However, users are encouraged to charge their vehicles up to 80 percent battery only to give chance to others.
How to avail of free charging:
- Check availability of slots in ACMobility EV Charging Hubs via the Evro app
- Once in the station, scan the QR code on the charger using Evro
- Review session details (rate will reflect P 0.00)
- Plug in your vehicle
- Slide the button on the Evro app to start charging
- Monitor your session in the app
- When done, stop charging and unplug your vehicle

I share the same sentiments about paid parking when charging at Ayala properties. ACMobility/Ayala should waive parking fees for EVs that charged at their properties since they already made money from the charging session.
DeleteUnfortunately, Evro has a virtual monopoly as the leading EV Charging Platform. It does have competition, but none have the scale of ACMobility. I hope big players like Meralco enter the scene and drive down the price of EV charging.
That’s just great! /s Good luck to all EV drivers getting a charge during the weekend. The queues will probably be long, like gas stations on a Monday night before a price hike long, with PHEVs leading the pack as per usual. ACMobility pulls this publicity stunt just after I’ve stockpiled charging credits. If someone from ACMobility is reading this, you’re hurting your actual paying customers with stunts like this. Evro charging stations are the reliable back up to the ever-so-constantly full EV charging stations at Sea Malls. I guess I need to ditch my BYD Tang BEV for a Tesla.

DeleteI do agree that the first guy needs to get a Tesla. You’ll get access to the Tesla Charging Network which is currently exclusive to Teslas. The charging network may be nascent for now, but it’s slowly growing. Also, Tesla’s charging rates are half of Evro’s. Not to mention, you’ll still have access to Evro’s charging network if the need ever arises.
Am not a fool to waste money on low quality, low prestige, junk resale value, no spare parts Tang🍊🍊🍊.

DeleteAlso, Tesla (especially the older models) have documented horrible reliability (read up on Hertz and their failed bet on their Tesla fleet) and after sales reputation in the US. That's why you can get used models so cheaply over there.
