Jetour Auto Philippines continues its rapid rise in the local automotive market, posting triple-digit growth so far in 2026 as demand for its electrified vehicles accelerates.
The brand delivered another strong performance in May 2026, recording 484 units sold, up from 402 units in April 2026 and 163 units in May 2025. This represents a 20 percent growth month-on-month and a 177 percent year-on-year increase.
For two straight months, the Chinese brand posted impressive gains when retail sales reached 362 units in March versus 122 units in March 2025 (197 percent increase). In April, sales climbed 402 units from 105 units in April 2025 (283 percent increase).
From January to May, Jetour recorded 1,553 units of retail sales—significantly higher than the 561 units sold in the same period in 2025. This reinforces the brand’s position as one of the fastest growing automotive brands in the market.
Driving this performance is Jetour’s continued focus on electrified mobility. From January to May 2026, 1,399 of the 1,553 units sold were electrified vehicles, accounting for 90 percent of total sales.
Leading the charge is the Jetour T1 Lightning i-DM which has emerged as the brand’s main volume driver.
Jetour’s electrified growth story began with the Dashing Lightning i-DM and Jetour X70 Lightning i-DM which were launched in March of last year. Building on that momentum, the brand further expanded its line-up with the launch of the T2 Lightning i-DM and the T1 Lightning i-DM.
This year, Jetour also entered the premium off-road luxury space with the Jetour Gaia brand. Bannered by the Gaia G700, the Gaia represents a new premium direction for the brand, combining advanced electrified technology, rugged capability, sophisticated design, and next-generation intelligent features aimed at customers looking for a more elevated driving experience.
“Consumers are clearly responding to Jetour’s direction and our growing electrified vehicle line-up,” said Mr. Nikko Sayson, Sales Director of Jetour Auto Philippines. “The strong performance of the T1 Lightning i-DM proves that the market is ready for smart and accessible hybrid mobility, while the introduction of the Jetour Gaia reflects Jetour’s commitment to expanding into the premium segment with products that combine innovation, technology, and lifestyle appeal.”
The brand will be at the 10th Philippine International Motor Show this June 4 to 7, 2026 where they will display their full electrified range. Test drives, event-only promotions, and special trade-in offers will be made available.

Not surprised with the sales figures coming from a very new automaker.
