New Batch Of MRT-7 Trains Arrive, On Track For End-2022 Opening

Pasig River Expressway Greenlit
More than a year since it was first proposed by San Miguel Corporation (SMC), the government has approved the Pasig River Expressway (PAREX) project, a 19.37-km, six-lane elevated road, that will run along the banks of the Pasig River—from Radial Road 10 in the City of Manila to C-6 road, also known as the future South East Metro Manila Expressway (SEMME) in Taguig.

SMC Places First Trainsets On MRT-7 Track
San Miguel Corporation (SMC) has unloaded and installed the first trainset for its Metro Rail Transit - 7 or MRT-7 project in Quezon City last Saturday and Sunday. The trainsets, which SMC ordered from South Korea’s Hyundai Rotem, arrived recently at the Manila Port and are the first of six trainsets the company expects to arrive by end of the year.
