The 2021 Chevrolet Tracker Comes In A Color Called Pow Zinga

After a price leak this morning, Chevrolet Philippines has released the full info on the 2021 Tracker sub-compact SUV, including its rather interestingly named color palette which includes “Pow Zinga Metallic”—the one in the lead photo. This bright shade of blue, which is exclusive to the LS variant joins four others—Agate Red Metallic, Satin Silver Steel Gray Metallic, Black Meet Kettle Metallic, and Summit White.

Speaking about variants, the 2021 Tracker comes in two variants for the Philippine market—the base LS and the top-of-the-line LT Redline. The price, as confirmed by the leak, is P 1,142,888 and P 1,242,888, respectively. Although they’re offering a P 30,000 introductory discount until September 30, 2021.

The base LS already comes with LED daytime running lights (these double as signal lights) and 17-inch wheels as standard, but the LT Redline adds differentiation with its black bowtie emblem, side mirrors, and rims. The LT Redline also benefits from LED headlights, LED taillights, and a panoramic sunroof.

Inside, the Tracker 1.0 LS has a two-tone black and captain blue interior compared to the Tracker LT Redline’s all black number (the jet black seats though have red double stitching for contrast). Standard across the range is a flat-bottomed steering wheel (sporty) and the Chevrolet MyLink infotainment system with an 8-inch screen, integrated Apple CarPlay, and four speakers, although the LT Redline adds a push-button start/stop and climate control.

Curiously, while it does have a turbocharged 1.0-liter 3-cylinder engine (Ecotec 325T), its power and torque outputs are different from the one in China, where Chevrolet Philippines is sourcing the Tracker. For the local market, it comes with 116 horsepower at 5,800 rpm and 175 Nm of torque from 1,500 to 4,200 rpm. It does arrive with an idle start/stop system, while the sole transmission is a 6-speed automatic.

In terms of safety, it has four airbags, ABS with EBD, and stability control on both grades as well as a tire pressure monitoring system, and a rear parking sensors with a wide-angle 130-degree reverse camera.

The 2021 Chevrolet Tracker also comes with a 5-year / 100,000-kilometer warranty on top of the 24/7 emergency roadside assistance for 3 years.
