Chery Auto PH Posts Best Monthly Sales In April; Tiggo 8 PRO Sold Out

Chery Auto Philippines reports that its April 2022 sales reached their best-ever monthly figure.

United Asia Automotive Group, Inc. (UAAGI), the exclusive distributor of Chery vehicles in the Philippines reports that its April 2022 sales surged 143 percent compared to the same month last year.

The brand did not disclose actual sales figures.

“We at Chery Auto Philippines / United Asia Automotive Group Inc. make sure that we offer the right models and services at the right price," said UAAGI President Erroll Duenas. "People need fully equipped yet affordable mobility and we have the right mix of value-packed Tiggo models with luxury, comfort, and safety features to suit any requirement or budget,” Duenas added.

Chery says their sales were buoyed by better consumer brand awareness and growing marketing confidence in an improving pandemic climate. This has led them to launch their new flagship SUV, the all-new Tiggo 8 Pro. Barely two months after their pre-selling activities, they’ve managed to sell out their initial inventory.

“Our pre-selling activities were received very well by the market and we are now proud to announce that our whole initial inventory of Tiggo 8 Pro models has been sold out. Needless to say, we expect even higher growth in the coming months as new stocks of our flagship model arrive,” Duenas said.

Other factors contributing to Chery Auto’s growth in the country is the brand’s industry-leading warranty and PMS program, the Chery Premium Preserv. This bundles a 10-year/1 million-km engine warranty, a 5-year general warranty (7 years general warranty for the new Tiggo 8 Pro), and a free full preventive maintenance service (PMS) for 3 years.

Chery’s bank partners have also contributed by offering attractive easy-on-the-budget auto loan packages well.

  2. Etong Chery Pie Picache talaga puro percentage lang ni rerelease! Hindi actual figures. Buti pa MG at Geely, siguro distant third lang ang Chery in terms of sales among these 3 Chinese brands.

Changan, GAC, and JAC bottom 3 kulelat sa sales hahaha.

  4. Correct no actual numbers, and making Chery look bad from all these car reviewers as if all are just paid advertisements. This is obviously a bad advertising strategy from Chery.

  5. I contacted via phone and messager a car sales woman at their Clark dealership. After one phone call, this representative never called, emailed or message anyone. She said sorry po - busy lang. I wonder if they sell all their cars in their lots everyday of the week. Oh, well, too bad, I will find another car to buy na lang. They don't want my money!
