Mitsubishi PH Celebrates 60th Anniversary With Limited Edition Xpander Cross

With Mitsubishi Motors Philippines celebrating its 60th (diamond) anniversary this year, it was inevitable that they’d be releasing special edition models to commemorate this milestone. Well, the first vehicle to get the treatment is the Xpander Cross which has received the limited edition 60th Anniversary treatment.

Priced at P 1,382,000 or P 54,000 more than standard 7-seater MPV/SUV, the Xpander Cross 60th Anniversary Edition gets a new tailgate garnish, mud guards, rear bumper protector, and tailgate spoiler. Oddly enough, Mitsubishi restrained themselves from slapping a special decal, but dealers will give would-be owners a free sticker if you wish to stick on the MMPC 60th Anniversary logo yourself.

The Xpander Cross 60th Anniversary Edition will also comes with several freebies such as a foldable container box, foldable stool, key fob case, reversible tote bag, and travel tumblers.

The rest of the car is pretty much the same Xpander Cross which was released just last January.

The Xpander Cross 60th Anniversary Edition will be the main focal point of Mitsubishi Motors Philippines’ display at the Manila International Auto Show from April 13 to 16 where it will be displayed alongside some historic models, particularly the Lancer “box-type” as well as the AXCR 2022-winning Strada Rally Car.

    1. Agreed. I can't believe they priced a low tech mediocre vehicle like that. It has bad driving dynamics and feels extremely cheap. It is for people who don't know a thing about cars.

  7. Can a moderator just pls delete some of these people from the comments section? There's nothing useful in these flame wars that happen in almost every article. Do these people even have lives? Who has the time to engage in a keyboard fight in almost every posted article? Pls mods, you'd be doing these people a favor.

    3. Can you not ban them? I appreciate the efforts, but these people make the site look bad. From the guy pretending to be an expert in everything motoring, to him also throwing out numbers he pulled from his ass. It's like the comments section on facebook.

    4. Correct. Ban them. Let them peddle their garbage elsewhere.
