2024 Lexus LBX Launches In Philippines With P 2.968M Price Tag

Lexus Philippines has finally launched its smallest, most affordable offering yet: the first-ever Lexus LBX. Designed to appeal to younger, style-conscious luxury customers, the LBX breaks the brand convention by going with a “premium casual” theme.

Priced at P 2.968 million, the Lexus LBX comes with a standard bi-tone exterior with the following colors: Sonic Quartz, Silver Metallic, Gray Metallic, Red Spinel, Sonic Copper, Sonic Chrome, Passionate Yellow, and Deep Asure Mica Metallic.

The Lexus Next Chapter design has been reinterpreted thanks to the deconstructed spindle grille. On either side are bi-beam LED headlights with an Automatic High-beam System. At each corner are standard 18-inch alloy wheels. At the back, a power tailgate is standard.

Inside, the LBX is designed around the brand’s Tazuna cockpit. This keeps the location of the principal location of the controls immediately around the driver so operation or reading requires minimal movement of the eye or hand. The seats are finished in a combination of leather and suede with 10-way power adjust for the front passengers. In addition, the cabin inlays used have a Tsuyusami charcoal-effect trim created using a new film technique that uses multiple layers to give a highly textured appearance.

The driver is treated to a 9-inch digital gauge cluster, while at the center is a 9.8-inch touchscreen with a fingerprint-resistant coating. Smartphone integration is provided by Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Connectivity can be done wirelessly or via USB Type C ports. A wireless charger is standard issue as well.

Other features include an ambient lighting system with 50 different colors as well as the e-latch system for the doors, and a six-speaker system.

Powering the Lexus LBX is a 1.5-liter 3-cylinder supplemented by a self-charging hybrid system. With 136 horsepower, it does the key 0 to 100 km/h metric in 9.2 seconds, while still achieving up to 22.72 km/L.

The TNGA GA-B platform has been extensively modified for use on the Lexus LBX with additional structural adhesives and more weld points. Featuring a longer wheelbase and widened tracks, it promotes the brand’s Lexus Driving Signature ethos through its front MacPherson Strut and rear Torsion Beam Axle setup.

The all-new Lexus LBX is now available for viewing either at Lexus Manila or Lexus Mitsukoshi BGC.

  1. Weak engine.. what's the point..

    1. The first paragraph literally answers your question. Either you were not reading or you're memory only lasts for 10 seconds.

If you're looking for something else, this product obviously isn't for you (which applies to any product or service from fishball to BMW i7)

    2. Yeah I read the 1st paragraph but that its not convincing anybody. This product is a rip-off. You're basically paying for the Lexus badge.

    3. If it were me, I'd pony up a little bit more and get another Lexus crossover like the NX (or the UX) instead.

  2. Mazda cx-30 shoots up in value

  3. Add a little more and get a Lexus NX or IS. Much better. They're also in hybrid guise.
