GWM Philippines is ready for primetime with the launch of their most ambitious offering yet: the GWM Haval H9. Positioned as their new flagship offering, this mid-sized 7-seater SUV brings space, safety, and confident 4x4 power—all for the price of a traditional 4x2. Watch our first impressions.
Priced at P 1,998,888 (P 1,928,888 introductory offer), the Haval H9 is built on GWM’s sixth-generation advanced off-road platform. The high-strength steel frame construction is backed up by a 2.4-liter turbodiesel engine paired with a 9-speed automatic. With 186 horsepower and 480 Nm of torque at its disposal, the Haval H9 has 3-ton towing capacity, while its high ground clearance (224 mm) and impressive water wading depth (800 mm) means confidence to tackle Manila’s worst. It also comes with seven drive modes and an All Terrain Control System with Off-road Expert Mode.
The bold, retro-inspired design inspires confidence and adventure. The Haval H9 offers LED headlights, sunroof, roof rails, and 18-inch wheels with 265/60R18 tires as standard. Three colors are on offer in the Philippines: Iceberg White, Midnight Black, and Stealth Gray.
Inside, the Haval H9 features black and walnut-colored tones accented with aluminum and wood-inspired finishes. The three-row configuration means families can travel in comfort, while the driver is pampered with the high-resolution 10.25-inch LCD instrument cluster and 14.6-inch infotainment hub. A three-zone climate control, ambient lighting, and a 6-way power adjustable driver’s seat are just some of its standard convenience features.
When it comes to safety, the Haval H9 features 6 SRS airbags as standard along with ABS with EBD and Electronic Stability Control with Hill Descent Control and Hill Start Assist Control. It also has a 540-degree around view camera system and rear parking sensors helping it navigate through tight city streets or through challenging trails.
The GWM Haval H9 comes with a 7-year or 200,000 kilometer warranty whichever comes first. And for a limited time, it comes with a P 70,000 discount which drops its suggested retail price from P 1,998,888 to P 1,928,888 until May 31, 2026.

ReplyDeleteA manual transmission 4x2/4x4 without a sunroof, manual parking brake, a 17s on the wheels, intermittent wipers, premium fabric seats price at 1.7 to 1.8m would surely make a lot of OG drivers lining up to get one for sure.

Not gonna happen but a good idea actually if gwm wants to target the masses and not just those in luzon who always deal with traffic, philippines doesn't just roam around manila. Provincial people especially with farms are a potential buyers with the variant you mention. That's why a mt montero and fortuner aren't going anywhere and still continue selling like hotcakes.
