After its official Philippine launch last June 15, GWM Philippines has commenced nationwide retail deliveries of its GWM Haval H7.
The strong response generated during its MIAS preview as well as its official launch meant GWM Philippines had to accelerate vehicle allocation and distribution efforts to its dealerships nationwide. The company remains committed to ensuring that more Filipinos can experience its latest hybrid and plug-in hybrid SUV firsthand through showroom displays and test drive opportunities at participating dealerships.
“The overwhelming reception we received during the Haval H7’s official launch validates the growing demand among Filipino motorists for vehicles that offer innovation, performance, and value,” said Mr. Dax Avenido, Brand Head of GWM Philippines. “We are excited to begin delivering units nationwide and invite customers to visit their nearest GWM dealership to discover what makes the Haval H7 a standout SUV in today’s market.”
To recall, the GWM Haval H7 comes in three variants: the Haval H7 HEV 2WD (P 1,298,888), the Haval H7 PHEV 2WD (P 1,548,888), and the Haval H7 Hi4 PHEV 4WD (P 1,698,888).
Before the launch of the Haval H7, GWM Philippines has sold some 176 units from January to May 2026 with 22 units in April and 29 units in May. The arrival of the H7 will no doubt boost GWM Philippines’ sales from June onwards.

Product looks great but the single-digit dealer count is scary.
ReplyDeleteActually the 4WD Hi4 PHEV is good value for money, though it is not perfect as no vehicle is.
DeleteThe strong acceleration (0 - 100Kph in 5.9 to 6.2 secs. depending upon the variant) gets one out of trouble fast. The 210mm ground clearance and .6M wading depth are good things.
The H7 rides unusually well as it's a monocoque design,
but clearly remains moderately off-road capable. The rear axles have a Diff-Lock which may activate the H7's computer to do GWM's version of a Center Diff-Lock though this still has to be verified (what good is a rear Diff-Lock if the front axles are not locked as well?).
Hopefully GWM Phils. will coordinate with their GWM principal in China to include as an update a Remote Start on the Key Fob, lower the overly high Brake Pedal height, make locally available the Step Board found in Menglong Plus in China, provide the
27Kw or 34Kw battery usually found in the 4WD variants, include Deep Dish Floor Mats(even as an option, as there are currently none that are properly fitted), etc.
The company would have gladly paid an additional P100K for the 34K battery and Step Board. Custom Fitted Floor Mats & Remote Start would normally be provided Free-Of-Charge, but paying an additional P10K for both would have been acceptable.
