Mitsubishi Motors Philippines isn’t about to take the compact crossover wars sitting down. The carmaker just revealed the pricing of its 2027 Xforce which goes on retail sale starting today.
Short of unveiling a hybrid variant, the big news for the 2027 update is the availability of a new base variant: the Xforce GLX.
First shown at the Philippine International Motor Show, the Xforce GLX is a solidly-featured compact crossover priced at P 1,119,000. Outside, it has LED headlights, front fog lights, and 17-inch alloy wheels. Inside, it trades in the leather steering wheel and shifter for urethane, while the seats are now covered in fabric. Even the infotainment screen is slightly smaller (8-inch) and the gauge cluster sports an analog setup. The automatic climate control and Dynamic Sound Yamaha Premium sound system have also been swapped for a simpler digital AC control and a simpler speaker setup.
Joining the Xforce GLX are the Xforce GLS and Xforce GT. Interestingly, the mid-grade Xforce GLS is now cheaper than the outgoing model (P 1,299,000 versus P 1,367,000), while the top-of-the-line Xforce GT is more expensive (P 1,661,000 versus P 1,581,000).
Apart from a special introductory price discount P 1,049,000 (Xforce GLX), P 1,199,000 (Xforce GLS), and P 1,591,000 (Xforce GT) until July 31, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines has yet to reveal what specific changes have been done to the mid- and top-grade variants (if any) to constitutes the price difference.
Whatever the case, it looks like Mitsubishi is finally listening to customer feedback in offering a better price point for the Xforce.
The price of the GT is ridiculous. Probably high SRP but big discount kind of tactic. Mitsubishi ain't fooling anyone, even with discounts the GT is overpriced

ReplyDeleteAs it was, XForce does not have value proposition to sell well. So if inventory is hurting them, they should adjust long ago. Adding a HEV flavor would good across the board.

ReplyDeleteXforce is a good car. This probably is an attempt to correct their big mistake of over pricing when it was introduced. Given electric trend, it may be a little too late.

DeleteThe Yaris Cross G has already more airbags compared to the XForce GLX but more expensive. The YC V is quite more expensive than the XF GLS but again the former has more airbags plus the YC V has already power tailgate and complete safety sense. The YC S is already a hybrid while the XF GT has still NA engine and more expensive. So IMO, Yaris Cross is better than the XForce.
ReplyDeleteThe HR-V is already more expensive. The Creta, quite more expensive, the Premium is okay but the turbo N-Line is also a good option.
