Mercedes-Benz Philippines Reveals New Brand Ambassador, Brand Head, And Dealership Refresh Plans

Mercedes-Benz Philippines announces its grand plans for the future as it celebrated the brand’s 140th anniversary at a special Welcome Home soiree.

The brand, distributed in the Philippines by Inchcape, is now headed by Mr. Jun Cajayon who serves as the Business Unit Head of Mercedes-Benz Philippines.

Cajayon is an auto industry veteran who served at ACMobility (then known as AC Motors) as the General Manager for Maxus and Volkswagen before he moved to Astara Philippines where he became Brand Head of GAC Motors. He then had stints at MG Philippines as Sales and Business Development Director before moving back to ACMobility as General Manager for Denza Alabang and Cebu.

Cajayon shared that before the year ends, Mercedes-Benz will unveil two new dealerships—Mercedes-Benz Alabang and Mercedes-Benz Cebu. Both dealerships will adapt the latest brand identity: Mercedes Architectural Rendition (MAR 20X). The latest brand identity will feature a homey and open layout design that reflects a modern and digitalized brand identity, elevating the Mercedes-Benz consumer experience.

For next year, Cajayon said it’ll be Mercedes-Benz Greenhills that’ll relaunch sporting the MAR 20X identity alongside a slew of new model launches.

Mercedes-Benz Philippines has introduced its newest brand ambassador, Chef Chele González.

González has made a significant mark on the Philippine culinary scene through his innovative approach to Filipino ingredients and culture. Originally from Torrelavega, Spain, he trained in Bilbao before working in acclaimed kitchens including those belonging to the Michelin-decorated El Bulli, Arzak, Mugaritz, Nerua and El Celler de Can Roca.

His restaurant, Gallery by Chele, recently earned both a Michelin Star and Michelin Green Star, while his second dining gem, Asador Alfonso, has also received a Michelin Star. Known for combining local produce and culinary traditions with contemporary techniques, González continues to champion Philippine gastronomy through his restaurants, collaborations, and international culinary engagements.

The partnership between Mercedes-Benz Philippines and Chef González is grounded in shared values of innovation, precision, craftsmanship, and excellence.
