Toyota has secured its 10th FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) manufacturer’s title, cementing its position as one of the sport’s dominant marques.
Their win at Rally Chile, with Olivier Solberg behind the wheel, means Toyota has equated two long-standing WRC records matching the six successive championships achieved by Lancia between 1987 and 1992. It also brings Toyota level with the Italian marque on 10 titles in total.
Their victory at Rally Chile also helped them secure their 11th win out of 12 rallies so far this season. It’s also their eighth one-two finish.
Moreover, a second victory of 2026 for Solberg and co-driver Elliott Edmondson—after their season-opening triumph at Rallye Monte-Carlo—means all five of the team’s crews have now won multiple rallies this year.
With two more rounds to go, the Toyota Gazoo Racing World Rally Team leads the manufacturer’s race with 614 points. Hyundai Shell Mobis World Rally Team is in second with 410 points and in third is Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT2 with 227. Rounding out the Top 4 is the M-Sport Ford World Rally Team with 152 points.
