Strong Global Demand For NEVs Helps Omoda Jaecoo Sales Surge

After just three years in the market, Omoda Jaecoo has surpassed global sales of more than a million units. The growth is fueled by strong demand for New Energy Vehicles (NEVs), particularly in Europe, Latin America, and Southeast Asia.

In July 2026 alone, Omoda Jaecoo recorded global sales of 69,739 vehicles, up 148.9 percent year-on-year. New Energy Vehicle sales reached 56,587 units, soaring 298.6 percent year-on-year and accounting for 81.1 percent of total sales.

The UK market reached a milestone by surpassing 100,000 cumulative sales less than two years after its entry into the market. This has made Omoda Jaecoo the third best-selling car brand there with the Jaecoo J7 also ranking third among all models in the UK from January to July. The Jaecoo J5 also entered the UK’s Top 10 best-selling cars in July.

It’s the same story in Spain and Italy, where Omoda Jaecoo saw sales rise 57 percent and 213 percent year-on-year, respectively. Poland is also a strong market for the Chinese brand helping it take the number one spot in PHEV sales.

In Brazil, Omoda Jaecoo has recorded its sixth consecutive month of sales records with cumulative 2026 sales exceeding 20,000 units already.

Closer to home, the market response for the Jaecoo J5 EV has been very strong in Southeast Asia. In Indonesia, it has already recorded 16,990 units in wholesale for the first half of 2026 making it the best-selling BEV for the period. It’s the same in Thailand, where the same model saw 11,263 registrations helping Omoda Jaecoo secure the number one spot in BEV sales last July.

In the Philippines, Omoda Jaecoo has sold 2,830 units from January to July 2026. Now ranked as the 13th best-selling automotive brand (10th in July), it now accounts for a 1.17 percent market share.

With 1,269 units sold in the first seven months of 2026, Omoda Jaecoo Philippines ranks third in BEV sales (428 units in July alone). It also ranks fifth in PHEV sales with a 524-unit cumulative total (103 units in July) and ranks fourth in HEV sales with 963 units sold (320 units in July).
