Mitsubishi Motors PH To Launch All-New Strada, 2 New SUVs In 2023
No one is questioning that Mitsubishi Motors Philippines (MMPC) has been relatively quiet when it comes to new products of late. With the exception of the Xpander launched last May (and that’s even technically a refresh), the country’s solidly number two carmaker has just done special edition variants of its Montero Sport, Strada, and Mirage G4 (two of them, in fact) to keep things fresh. Well, don’t worry because they’re stirring up some nice things come 2023.

Could The 2023 Kia Carens Spoil The BR-V, Stargazer, Xpander Cross's Party?
Last year, Kia dusted off the Carens nameplate for a three-row global SUV (think Honda BR-V or Mitsubishi Xpander Cross). At the time, it was seemingly destined only for India and other right-hand drive countries in ASEAN. A year later, a left-hand drive version has emerged increasing the chances of it being introduced for the Philippine market.

Review: 2023 Mitsubishi Xpander 1.5 GLS
Sometimes it’s good to be reminded of just how good a car is by giving it go once more. In the case of the Mitsubishi Xpander, it’s the small MPV everyone’s become familiar with. This, of course, puts it in danger of being bred in contempt. Regardless, despite the newer offerings in the market, it still remains the segment’s benchmark.

Review: 2023 Nissan Livina 1.5 VL
Basically, there are two reasons why automakers would design and build a car. Either they’re doing it for the sheer passion of it, or because they see it as a way to improve their bottom line. More often than not, a car exists somewhere between these two extremes. For Nissan, this could very well be almost their entire line-up from the Almera to the Patrol. In rare occasions, you get something born out of pure passion like the GT-R, the Z, and depending on who you ask, the LEAF. Now, for every so-called “passion project” there’s one whose sole mission is to improve their bottom line, and that’s where the all-new Nissan Livina comes in.

Mitsubishi Motors Shows Off 2023 Xpander Cross
When Mitsubishi Motors unveiled the refreshed Xpander globally in 2021, there was some visible confusion as to why its SUV-derivative, the Xpander Cross didn’t get the same slew of changes. While it did see a minor update, it didn’t get the aggressive new front fascia. Apparently, the Japanese carmaker just bided their time as two years later, they have finally unveiled the 2023 Xpander Cross.
