Ford Shows Off Next-Generation 2022 Everest

Less than a month after Ford showed off its next-generation 2022 Ranger, they’ve given the world its first sneak peek at its SUV derivative, the all-new, next-generation 2022 Everest.

Engineered for any adventure and designed for comfort, Ford says the Everest builds on its award-winning capability to provide the performance and versatility customers told them they needed to take on life.

Like the Ranger and its unique camo, the all-new Everest wears something similar for its final testing phase. Even at night, the cloaked 7-seater SUV stands out thanks to the reflective strips in the camouflage.

In addition, the color of the camouflage is based on three colors—Meteor Gray, Black, and White—the three most popular colors for the Everest.

So far, Ford hasn’t revealed anything about the all-new Everest yet, but expect it to gain the same features found in the next-generation Ranger including its range of diesel engines—a 2.0-liter in both single and bi-turbo versions as well as a 3.0-liter V6 as well as its 10-speed automatic.

In terms of features, it should have features similar to the Ranger such as a portrait-style center touchscreen, a fully digital instrument panel, and some sort of advanced Terrain Management System. Based on the photos, it will have LED headlights with C-shaped DRLs, LED taillights, a 360-degree camera, 20-inch wheels on Goodyear Wrangler tires, and a power tailgate too.

The all-new Everest will be unveiled globally in the first quarter of 2022.
