All-New 2023 Honda Accord Launching In November

After just seven years on the market (it was launched in the market in 2017), the current 10th generation Honda Accord is getting an all-new replacement, and this is your first look.

Set for a full reveal in November, the 11th generation Accord will get Honda’s largest-ever touchscreen at 12.3 inches. Not only that, but the carmaker has confirmed that its infotainment system will integrate Google services using the Android Automotive OS. This will allow native Google applications such as Google Assistant and Google Maps to reside in the system.

The teasers also happen to show what the all-new Accord’s front and rear end will look like. It looks to sport a larger, more upright grille with a triangular insert that replaces the current model’s Solid Wing face. Meanwhile, at the back, the all-new Accord will have full-width taillights—a trend started by the HR-V—that intersects with the Honda logo on the trunk.

Apart from the large touchscreen, the all-new Accord will also have a digital gauge cluster, and thankfully, conventional knobs.

Honda didn’t provide any powertrain details for the all-new Accord, but the rear badge does confirm the availability of a hybrid. It will likely be an improvement over the current version which uses a 2.0-liter-electric motor combo which makes 212 horsepower and 315 Nm of torque. This is the same engine found in the Civic Hybrid and Accord Hybrid.

Locally, Honda Cars Philippines made the decision to drop the Accord mid this year (it was launched just two years ago) due to the shrinking executive sedan market.
