  1. Chinese manufacturers sure like to use turbocharged engines and DCTs, things that are not known for longevity.

  2. For Chinese vehicles to get favorable tax breaks is to sell vehicles with a max capacity 1.5L engine. Now to get those "heavy" SUV bodies to move at acceptable speeds is to turbocharge it. Of course, like anything electronic, don't expect them to last very long. Same goes to all electronically powered safety features in the car. Alternate is to get 1.8L-2.0L NatAsp engines at higher cost, no FTA to shield from higher taxes. Japanese or Korean car don't have the FTA for these types of vehicles hence they can go for non-turbo bigger engines

  3. Maxus should price their vehicles competitively in the first place and improve services to establish the brand and loyal customers rather than always having these promos of giving hefty discounts which really hurting thr brand. Parang VW Santana kahit parang ipamigay na matumal pa rin ang benta tsk tsk.

  6. Don't be fooled by Maxus offering huge discounts. They are selling late year models like 2021 to 2022 unsold old stocks. The moment you bought the car you already lost atleast 30% depreciation values.
