Only 40 Mazda6 20th Anniversary Edition Will Be Made Available In The Philippines

Mazda Philippines is celebrating two decades of Zoom-Zoom with the availability of the strictly limited edition Mazda6 20th Anniversary Edition model after its global launch late last year.

Based on the 2024 Mazda6 Sports Wagon, the Mazda6 20th Anniversary Edition features special badging on each front fender, a high-gloss front grille, and high-gloss silver 19-inch alloy wheels. Further enhancing its Kodo design, it is exclusively offered in the latest, newly-developed Takuminuri Colors: Artisan Red Premium and Rhodium White Premium.

Rhodium White Premium is a pure white color inspired by Japanese aesthetics that find beauty in simplicity. The paint’s fine grain accentuates the shadows on the Mazda6’s surface, complimenting the underlying metallic texture.

Meanwhile, Artisan Red Premium conveys a deep, lush red found in mature red wine. This color accentuates the strength and beauty of the Mazda6’s lines. It exudes a fine-grained transparent red shining brightly, while the dominant shade produces a profound depth and richness, rendering a high level of contrast.

The Mazda6 20th Anniversary Edition showcases Mazda’s high level of craftsmanship where a tan color palette accentuates the sophisticated cabin. Luxurious Leganu suede runs through the length of the dashboard, while full-grain Nappa leather seats give the entire cabin a rich, dignified feel. The front seat headrests are also embossed with the 20th anniversary logo.

Guaranteeing its exclusivity, only 40 units of the Mazda6 20th Anniversary Edition will be made available in the Philippines—20 units in Rhodium White Premium and 20 units in Artisan Red Premium.

Changes to the electric power steering provide more tactile feedback at medium and high speeds. This is complemented by an updated the 2.5-liter Skyactiv-G engine. It now has cylinder deactivation for improved fuel efficiency. Depending on engine load, it automatically switches between four- and two-cylinder modes at no cost to performance. Outputs remain at 190 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 252 Nm at 4,000 rpm.

Emphasizing Mazda’s commitment to offering the highest levels of vehicle safety, the new Mazda6 comes standard with Mazda Radar Cruise Control, Smart Brake Support, Front and Rear Smart City Brake Support, and Driver Attention Alert. These features are on top of the i-Activsense features already previously equipped: Adaptive LED Headlights, Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist, Blind Spot Monitoring, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. This makes it the safest Mazda6 ever.

“Since its introduction in the Philippines, the Mazda6 has captivated driving enthusiasts with its blend of style and dynamics. Up to now, it retains a loyal following, and the 20th Anniversary Edition is a special nod to those customers who share our passion for driving,” says Steven Tan, President of Mazda Philippines.

The Mazda6 20th Anniversary Edition is exclusively offered in Artisan Red Premium or Rhodium White Premium, and is priced at P 2,200,000 (P 100,000 more than the standard 2024 Mazda6).

  1. Sorry but this is purely marketing. Even a non "limited" 6 is already a hard sell. By offering only 40 is just purely a sad ploy to sell a car that even with a non limited version can barely sell.Goodluck Mazda with this limited edition.

    1. Mazda Australia also sells Mazda 6 20th anniversary edition

But any case, it shouldn't be a problem to sell all 40 units.
I think Mazda Philippines / Berjaya can sell all 40 before the end of 2023

After all, it's a more exciting car.....compared to a Toyota Camry or Honda Accord.

  2. A wagon is too niche. Bring in the sedan and sell more units to buyers unwilling to fork out extra for the (hybrid only) Camry.

    1. You have bad taste. Wagons are cool and more practical than a sedan.

  3. Maybe the reason for no longer offering the sedan is because there are no more new stocks of the sedan. They’re just selling the last stocks of the wagon.

    1. Mazda 6 Sedan is still in production in Japan
Bermaz shifted into Station Wagon as they to compete with the Subaru Outback,WRX Wagon and Forester GT Edition

  4. man the artisan red color is a beaut <3
