6,500-kilometer Great Philippine Overland Loop Aims To Show Beauty Of The Philippines


Mototesto Overland Equipment is kicking off an epic 20-day journey to circle around the Philippines from September 24 to October 13 with adventurers and their overlanding-equipped rides.

In association with Petron and FastCat, the Great Philippine Overland Loop will highlight the beauty of the Philippines through.

The adventure will kick off with a 4x4 parade starting in Pasig City before heading to KM. 0 in Luneta, Manila on September 22 for the official flag off. The convoy will then make its way to Davao City via Mindoro, Panay Island, Negros Occidental and Oriental then taking the Eastern seaboard to Laoag City via Samar, Leyte, Bicol Region, Central Luzon, and Cagayan Valley.

The expedition will officially close in Manila by way of the Lingayen Gulf.

The trip will cover a total distance of approximately 6,500 kilometers, passing through more than half the provinces of the Philippines and taking the adventurers past numerous scenic wonders such as the Linao Cave in Guijan, Eastern Samar and the Bluewater Falls and Cave in Baggao, Cagayan.

The trip will also include six FastCat RoRo crossings.

The entire trip will be documented via a series of YouTube videos and a commemorative book focusing on the different places, local culture, and experience of the participants.
