Second Mazda Fan Festa 2023 Scheduled in November

In case you can’t make it to the Mazda Fan Festa at the Fuji Speedway in September, you have another chance in November. Only this time, it’ll be at the Okayama International Circuit.

With a theme of “Mazda Spirit Racing,” the Mazda Fan Festa at Okayama is happening on Saturday, November 4 and Sunday, November 5 from 8 AM to 5 PM. The focus this year is on Mazda’s motorsports efforts and as such, activities will include e-motorsports competition, a racing course “bus tour” and club races such as the Roadster Party Race, Mazda Fan Circuit Trial, and Mazda Fan Endurance.

The main draw, without a doubt, is a demonstration run of the Mazda 787B, but it’ll be joined by a drift show by “Mad Mike” Whiddett and his 1,200-horsepower four-rotor rear-wheel drive Mazda3. There will also be an All Mazda Parade Run on Sunday.

Of course, there will be talks and seminars with Mazda developers and engineers too.

Advanced tickets cost 2,200 yen for Saturday only access and 2,750 for Sunday only access. You can also purchase a two-day pass for 3,300 yen. These will be on sale at select Lawson brands starting 7 PM on September 4.

You can also purchase tickets on the day, but these are more expensive: 2,600 yen for Saturday and 3,100 yen for Sunday.
