Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP), in partnership with B.League, invites everyone to to the B.League Finals Week Manila happening on May 21 to 24 at the SM Megamall Mega Fashion Hall.
The B.League Finals Week Manila is an event that aims to bring the best of Japanese basketball to Filipino fans. This collaboration also serves to honor the 70th anniversary of Japan-Philippines diplomatic relations.
As a central highlight of this collaboration, Toyota is presenting the B. Hope Asia Jr. Clinic on May 23. This initiative underscores Toyota’s steadfast commitment to supporting Filipino grassroots athletes by providing world-class opportunities for young talent to hone their skills. By giving an avenue for children to develop their sporting abilities, Toyota continues to champion the growth of the local athletic community.
The B. Hope Asia Jr. Clinic offers an afternoon of fun and high-level instruction coached by professional B.League players for children of various skill levels. Filipino Basketball star Kiefer Ravena of the Yokohama B-Corsairs will serve as a guest coach, ensuring a memorable and educational experience for all participants.
Elijah Marcial, First Vice President for Vehicle Sales Operations of TMP shares, “Toyota has long been committed to supporting our Filipino athletes and the growth of our local sports scene. Through our Start Your Impossible campaign, we were able to support Olympic gold medalist gymnast Carlos Yulo’s advocacy of children’s growth and development, as we partnered with him to hold a gymnastics clinic for children. Through the same campaign, Para Swimmer Ernie Gawilan’s advocacy of cleaner water was supported by TMP through our participation in coastal cleanups and mangrove plantings throughout the whole country.”
“The B. Hope Asia Jr Clinic is not the first time Toyota has supported Philippine basketball as TMP also supported Gilas Pilipinas as their official mobility partner for the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup. Our support for the upcoming B.Hope Asia Jr. Clinic is another testament of our standing commitment in supporting our grassroots athletes and the development of Philippine sports, she added.
Additionally, visitors can learn more about their dream ride at the Toyota booth, where they can learn more about the latest vehicle lineup of Toyota. Visitors can also jump into the action with interactive games for a chance to win prizes.
