Foton Philippines Opens First EV-Only Showroom In A. Bonifacio

Foton Philippines, under United Asia Auto Group (UAAGI) is serious about electrified mobility in the commercial space. In fact, hey just reintroduced their A. Bonifacio showroom as an EV-only dealership, emphasizing their dedication to greener means of mobility as they celebrate their 19th year of pioneering in the country.

The renovated dealership is strategically located near Cloverleaf in 707 A. Bonifacio Avenue, Balintawak, Quezon City. It’s an area where many trucks pass by and many truck-related businesses are operating.

Present in the inauguration were key executives led by Levy Santos, General Manager of Foton Philippines; Vince Licup, Dealer Principal of Foton A. Bonifacio and Beatitude Auto Group; Mayor Joy Belmonte of Quezon City; and Joshua Sytin, Deputy Sales Director of Foton Philippines.

Foton Philippines also showcased their diverse EV commercial vehicle fleet. It starts with the Transvan i7 EV Cargo Van, Transvan HR Cargo EV, Thunder EV pickup, and the Traveller Sierra EV 12-seater Passenger Van.

Light commercial trucks are covered with the Harabas TM300 EV in Closed Van and MPV body configurations, and the Tornado Light Duty Truck (3.3/4.4); while the EST 6x4 EV 10-wheeler Tractor Head covers the Heavy Duty segment. The 33-seater Coach Bus EV serves as the bus segment.

Foton prides themselves with the no-compromise approach in these EV commercial vehicles. For example, the Thunder EV pickup can still carry 915 kilograms over 536 kilometers of range, while the Harabas has a 1,340-kilogram payload, while the Tornado can do 3,300 kilograms. The EST EV Tractor Head can pull a massive 45,000 kilograms.

Foton’s EV showroom is a modest 300-square meter space but sits on a total of 2,000-square meter area. It currently has four service bays but can accommodate an additional 10 to 15 vehicles for servicing, enabling it to support fleet aftersales requirements.

Foton also offers end-to-end charging solutions with a wide range of options including AC and DC from 3.5kW to 300 kW. They will also support your fleet with free proper training and workshops from the Foton Certified EV Tech Team. Technical support is also on standby 24/7 for Foton’s EV clients. This is augmented by the ECMobile On-Site Service to help you exactly at the moment you need them.

Best of all, they guarantee spare parts for their new EV line-up. Parts are readily available at the brand’s parts warehouse in Clark and Valenzuela, ready to be delivered to dealerships nationwide.

All of Foton’s EV offerings come with a 5-year or 200,000-kilometer warranty for the battery and electric system, except for the EV Coach Bus that comes with an 8-year or 800,000-kilometer warranty for the electric system. General vehicle warranty is at 3-years or 100,000 kilometers.
