Its newer, more affordable price tag aside, the Emkoo Hybrid rerains unchanged. It features a 2.0-liter Atkinson (ATK) cycle engine making 140 horsepower and 180 Nm of torque. With help from a 182 horsepower (134 kW) electric motor, outputs rise to a combined 238 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque. Power is then sent to a two-speed dedicated hybrid transmission (DHT) powering the front wheels.

Features include 19-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights with automatic high beams, a multi-function touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, a 360-degree camera, and a full suite of ADAS.

To sweeten the deal even more, the Emkoo Hybrid comes with a special introductory price under GAC International Philippines’ watch. For a limited period, it’s priced at just P 1,380,000 making it cheaper than its direct rival, the MG HS Hybrid+ and even the likes of the Geely EX5 EM-i and BYD Sealion 6 DM-i.
