Suzuki PH Is Launching Its First BEV, The eVitara, At PIMS

After appearing in the DOE’s recognized Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) list, it’s official: Suzuki Philippines is launching the eVitara at the Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) this June 4 to 7, 2026.

Central to Suzuki’s booth theme of “Come Alive: The New Era Begins,” it’s a dynamic expression of the brand’s next leap in innovation, electrification, and future-ready mobility for Filipino drivers.

Based on its DOE filing, the eVitara (model code: AP10) will come in a solitary GLX variant.

Confirmed are its general specs such as its dimensions: 4,275 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width, and 1,635 mm in height. As well as wheelbase (2,700 mm), turning radius (5.2 meters), and ground clearance (180 mm). It also offers 306 liters of cargo space with the rear seats up.

As for its powertrain, filings say it’ll come with a front-mounted electric motor generating 128 kW (174 horsepower) and 193 Nm. This results in a respectable 8.7-second 0 to 100 km/h time and a top speed of 150 km/h. Equipped with a 61.1-kWh LFP battery, it’s rated for a 426-kilometer WLTP range and can be charged via CCS for DC charging and Type 2 for AC charging.

The Philippine-spec eVitara will have 18-inch alloy wheels with 225/55R18 tires, smart keyless entry with push start, automatic climate control, 12-color ambient interior lighting, USB Type C ports, and a wireless charger as its standard comfort and convenience features.

It’ll also be offered with Suzuki Safety Support advanced driver assist technologies. This gives the eVitara adaptive cruise control, front collision warning with automatic braking (with pedestrian and cyclist detection), blind spot indicators, and rear cross traffic alert with automatic braking. This is on top of 7 SRS airbags, ABS with EBD, stability control, front and rear parking sensors, and a 360-degree camera.

The eVitara will join the Jimny 3-Door with Suzuki Safety Support, XL7 Hybrid Black Edition, Dzire Hybrid, and Fronx Hybrid at the Suzuki stand.

In addition, Suzuki is also offering test drives of the Jimny 3-Door and 5-Door, S-Presso, Ertiga Hybrid, Fronx Hybrid, and Dzire Hybrid at PIMS.

Families and young visitors can also enjoy the Suzuki Safety Scouts activity area, featuring fun and educational road safety experiences for children, exciting booth games with free prizes, and special merchandise for guests who complete a bank application and reservation. Visitors can also purchase the newly launched Suzuki Fronx shirt, available exclusively at PIMS for a special price of P 299.

  1. Should buyers opt for the Suzuki e-Vitara or Toyota Urban Cruiser and why?
