Wheels Inc, one of the oldest automotive dealer groups in the country, has joined forces with United Asia Automotive Group, Inc (UAAGI), a powerhouse distributor of new energy vehicles. Their collaboration has resulted in the opening of the new BAIC showroom in Quezon City.
The new BAIC Quezon Avenue stands at Wheels’ first dealership location at 602 Quezon Avenue cor. Tuayan St. It’s a testament to the brand’s commitment to serving more people, enhancing customer experience, and building a more robust dealership network.
The opening was led by executives from Wheels Inc. including Chairman Escorton “Gordon” Teng, Senior Vice President and Treasurer Antonio Teng, Senior Vice President for Marketing Frederick Teng, Vice President for Marketing Albern Teng, and Vice President for Sales, Finance, and Insurance Marketing Bernadette Goh-Sy.
As part of the inauguration, BAIC Quezon Avenue highlighted the brand’s latest offering: the BAIC B40e rEV. This 5-seater Plug-in Hybrid has a lot of power at 547 horsepower and 655 Nm of torque, can go 0-100 kph in 5.5 seconds, and has a combined range of around 1,200 kilometers. It also has 4WD capability so you’re sure it can get you to those nice camping places.
They also showcased the B30e Dune, B40 Pro Trailmaster, and the B60e Beaumont. These cars speak the brand’s direction towards adventure without compromising on environmental responsibility and intelligent mobility.
The Wheels Inc Group has experience in handling Japanese, Korean, European, and Chinese brands. This is their first time to work with UAAGI and a brand that they distribute. BAIC Brand Head Timothy Sytin emphasized the significance of the partnership and the Wheels Group’s strong reputation in the local automotive industry.
“The Wheels Group is one of the most prominent and respected dealer operating groups in the country. For years, your name has been associated with excellence, with professionalism, and with a standard of business conduct that few can match. That reputation is not given, it is built, carefully, and consistently, over many years of doing things the right way,” Sytin said.
“The values that guide your business, discipline, vision, and a genuine commitment to excellence are the same values we hold at UAAGI. That alignment is what gives this partnership its strength, and what gives us confidence in the road ahead,” Sytin added.
The new BAIC Quezon Avenue can be found on Quezon Avenue corner Tuayan Street, in front of Sto. Domingo Church.
