Improve Handling, Increase Suspension Life for As Little as P 5,000

Designed to compensate for any irregularities in the road surface (including, naturally, massive Manila potholes) and keep the vehicle at a predetermined height and support added weight without sagging, springs play a big part in a vehicle’s suspension system.

One of the most trusted brands in both OE and aftermarket coil springs is KYB. The KYB K-Flex coil spring is designed to increase the life of the shock absorber and other suspension components including the tires. It also improves road handling by properly maintaining tire contact with the road surface.

Manufactured using hot and cold coiling, the K-Flex coil springs guarantees a longer life thanks to excellent metallurgy through shot-peening. It also has a special surface preparation and coating to ensure excellent corrosion resistance.

Designed to be replaced in pairs (whether due to breakage or fatigue), prices start at a very affordable P 2,500 for a set of 4 (four) KYB K-Flex coil springs.

For more details and inquiries, including where to get KYB springs, contact its Philippine distributor, MassiveParts, Inc. Their office is located at 2823 Bagac Street, Tondo, Manila. Telephone numbers are: 63 2 253 4193, 253 4050, or 253 4045. You can also check out their official Facebook page.

  1. Would appreciate if someone is willing to share their experience with the following
    1. This coil spring with KYB SR Special shock absorber
    2. Bilstein B14 coilovers
    3. Other alternate coilovers [Silvers, D2, BC racing] if there are any here in MM.

Leaning on #2 since roads aren't getting better anytime soon hopefully it won't lower my ride that much. #1 is also an option if #2 is too stiff and too low.
