Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) is conducting a recall campaign on 2020 Model Year (20MY) 20MY Mitsubishi L300 due to a possible malfunction on the seat strap. This proactive measure is to ensure the safety of our valued customers on the affected units.

The seat strap is meant to hold the front seat when checking the engine compartment. Customers are advised to inspect the condition of the seat strap as a precaution. Please refer to this video for proper checking:

New replacement seat straps are now available at all authorized MMPC dealerships. In case they are not available, Mitsubishi will install a temporary fix and will prioritize these clients as soon as original replacement parts become available.

MMPC encourages 20MY L300 owners to book an appointment with their preferred dealership to properly assess the above-mentioned seat strap and conduct the necessary action.

The replacement procedure of the affected seat strap will take about 15 minutes and shall be free of charge.
