Buying From Audi's Official Dealerships Has Its Perks

Audi’s quattro all-wheel drive technology soared in the World Rally Championship in the early 1980s—captured in the iconic image of the Ur-Quattro rally car in mid-flight—and has only progressed immensely since.

With Audi Philippines bringing in the RS family, including the RS5 Sportback and RS Q3 Sportback, there are perks from buying them from the country’s sole official representative.

Would-be buyers are assured of key ownership advantages which only an official dealership can offer. Chief among these is that only technicians trained at the Audi headquarters in Germany, who use only OEM tools, factory-supplied equipment and certified genuine parts, work on the RS models developed by Audi Sport—Audi AG’s high-performance division.

Audi Philippines’ access to the latest software updates and the service bulletins, both of which issued by Audi AG exclusively to official dealerships, also ensure that any RS model purchased through their dealerships will always perform in optimal condition. Plus, as an official dealership, Audi Philippines provides the models with extensive factory warranties, and backs these with complete and authentic documents that guarantee the cars are comprehensively certified and backed by proof that the correct amount of duties and taxes due to them have been completely paid for.

Powering the 2022 Audi RS 5 Sportback is a 2.9-liter, twin-turbo V6 TFSI engine producing 450 horsepower and 600 Nm. An eight-speed tiptronic transmission tuned for sportiness transmits the engine’s output to the quattro permanent all-wheel drive system. The RS sport suspension with Dynamic Ride Control constantly counteracts the pitch and roll movements of the vehicle’s body to bind the car to the road, especially during hard cornering.

Meanwhile, Audi Sport’s legendary line of five-cylinder engines—also used in the Ur-Quattro—continue in the 2022 Audi RS Q3 Sportback. The model’s multi-award-winning, 2.5-liter inline-five-cylinder TFSI engine produces 400 horsepower and 480 Nm. Sending the output to the quattro all-wheel drive system is a seven-speed S tronic transmission.

  1. How are European car dealerships still open? They can't be making enough money on volume.

    1. Luxury brands don't follow the same business model as others. It doesn't need volume.

Same reasons as why greenbelt 5 is occupied by luxury watch brands for years.

    2. On luxury watches, i inquired here in Bangkok about a new rolex datejust model and they said they already have a long queue. People who have money are buying luxury goods; they might as well enjoy their money during these uncertain times.

    3. True, sometimes a store doesn't even have to generate sales. Some stores are just open for branding or presence purpose. They already generate value to the company just by being here.

    4. They make money from Pharmally and other such scams. Even with legit businesses, anyone in the drugs, healthcare, or logistics sector has been swimming in cash.

Also, a lot of storefronts are on consignment basis, they're basically "hobby businesses" usually by the spouse of a tycoon who does much bigger things like infrastructure.

  2. Pga is always selling millions more expensive than gray markets
