Lexus PH Opens Order Books For All-New NX

Right after the local launch of the refreshed Lexus ES, Lexus Philippines has announced that the next-generation NX premium compact SUV is arriving just before the end of the year.

Like the Lexus IS, the all-new NX is developed on the brand’s Shimoyama Test Track. It represents a new chapter for Lexus—integrating human-centered technologies with the Lexus Driving Signature.

At its core, the Lexus Driving Signature (LDS) introduces a higher development standard for vehicle dynamics. Under LDS, all Lexus models share consistent, linear traits in their operation and behavior in order to forge genuine connections with their drivers.

The Lexus NX also heralds a the brand’s new design rooted in athletic proportions. The five-seater crossover displays elements of an evolved Lexus design language that pursues “Simplicity” and “Uniqueness.” The interior, meanwhile, fully incorporates the “Tazuna Concept” which allows the driver to intuitively connect with the car and concentrate more on driving operations.

Lexus Philippines has yet to reveal what powertrain options they’ll be bringing in, but during its global reveal last June, it comes with a variety of options from a 203-horsepower 2.5-liter 4-cylinder to a 302-horsepower plug-in hybrid variant.

Order books for the all-new Lexus NX are now open, with the official launch slated in December 2021.

  1. Will the prices be the same as in the outgoing variants? Interested in the hybrid.

  2. Mr Admin. Between the NX and X3, which one would you recommend in terms of reliability and long-term cost of ownership? The X3 business package is about the same price of the outgoing NX hybrid variant. Thank you.
