Filipinos Show Keen Interest In Jetour Auto At Manila International Auto Show (w/ Brochure)

The rise of Chinese car brands in the scene continues as Jetour Auto Philippines debuted at the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS). Since Jetour International’s inception in 2018, it has positioned itself as a brand that brings convenience to travel through innovation. It aims to do the same as it officially enters the Philippine car market.

“It’s a great pleasure to be here with you all to witness the launch of the Jetour brand in the Philippines. The automobile market here has great prospects and potential, and we would like to give Filipino consumers more options while providing a ‘travel plus’ experience through our high-quality products and services” said Jack Chen, General Manager of Jetour International.

The brand launch was made possible by the collaboration of two distinguished automotive groups, Gateway Motor Group and Auto Speedygo Group, in their journey to provide Filipino consumers with reliable, trustworthy, and valuable products and services.

“At Jetour, we believe that driving should be an enjoyable and worry-free experience. One of the things that sets us apart from our competitors is our exceptional warranty coverage. You can enjoy up to 10 years of engine warranty with a million kilometers’ worth of coverage and an incredible 6 years of bumper-to-bumper warranty coverage for all our gasoline-powered vehicles” said Lito Jose, Managing Director of Jetour Auto Philippines.

Jetour then announced the launch of their premiere models along with promos and special offers to kick off their debut. They introduced the Ice Cream EV, X70, X70 Sport, and Dashing models with enticing introductory net prices ranging from P 999,000 for the X70 Journey, P 1,269,000 for the X70 Sport, and P1,299,000 for the Dashing.

With that, the upstart brand is generally pleased with the brand launch, with many show attendees showing a keen interesting in the brand, particularly the Dashing SUV and Ice Cream EV.

Jetour Auto Philippines announced that they will be expanding their dealership network across the country. The new dealerships will open in spread-out locations such as Alabang, Bonifacio Global City, Eton Centris, Pasay, Fairview, Lipa City, Pampanga, Iloilo, Bacolod, Cebu, Davao and Cagayan de Oro to guarantee accessibility for Filipinos nationwide. They have also signed influencer family, Team Kramer to serve as their official brand ambassadors.

  2. It will be embarrassing driving a cheap looking car named ice cream. You will be the butt of jokes if you bring a car like that to work.

  3. Dashing should have been volume seller if not for the price 1.3M . A huge discounts must be offered if the distributor wants to compete Against the perennial leader Geely Coolray and the Best in Motorshow MIAS the Ford Territory Titanium at only 1.335M. no doubt Ford badge sounds great.

  4. The Dashing looks err dashing but those are certainly weird category names on that specsheet. "Combat supernatural powers", "Safe magic", "Wisdom and supernatural powers", uhm really?
Was this intentional or lack of translation proofreading? Kinda turns me off.

    1. It reads like a direct Chinese to English translation.

    2. Jetour Ph needs to invest on a professional to help translate Chinese gibberish so the translated material won't be out of this world. A literal translation from Google can be a turnoff for the product image.

    3. Yeah seems like a direct translation. I hope it's not the official brochure for PH release, though. It would come off as laziness, lack of attention to detail (at least in Marketing), or a mix of both. With these highly competitively-priced and specced cars being in the spotlight, any minor misstep these companies do will further delight and stroke the egos of the old guard and their fans.

    1. Well... it defintely absurd...i dont think china will sale lower quality cars in dear home market , then sold better quality cars for export market. Pwede pa if low quality pang export and high quality home market. China now very strict in curbing emmissions on cars, thats why dear shifting fast on EV's and dump older ice models overseas including ph.( helow maxus and vw ph)
