Changan Philippines welcomes the Nevo A05 plug-in hybrid sedan to its model range. Catering to sedan intenders in the market for something classic, sporty, and modern, the Nevo A05 is priced at P 1,195,000.
Powering the Changan Nevo A05 Plug-in Hybrid is a 1.5-liter BlueCore Gasoline Engine, mated to a dedicated hybrid transmission (DHT), which, together, produces 212 horsepower and 330 Nm of torque. Adapting to the driver’s preference, the A05 comes with several EV powertrain modes such as BEV, PHEV, or REEV. On top of these, it also features multiple drive modes such as Eco, Normal, Sport, and Custom.
And thanks to its class-leading 18.4-kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, the Changan Nevo A05 is another Nevo model that boasts the highest-rated pure electric vehicle range in its class with its impressive 130 kilometers of range in full EV mode, and a comprehensive range of 1,250 kilometers.
The Nevo A05 features automatic LED with follow-me-home functionality, LED taillights, and 17-inch alloy wheels.
Interior-wise, the sole variant offers keyless entry and start, a 10-inch TFT LCD display, automatic climate control with a PM 2.5 filter and rear vents, a moonroof, USB ports, 6-way power adjustable driver’s seat, and multi-function steering wheel. A 13.2-inch touchscreen display audio features wireless Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay mated to a 6-speaker system.
Going beyond the standard, the Nevo A05 also offers advanced safety features such as a 540-degree Virtual View Camera System w/ 360-degree recording, Integrated Adaptive Cruise Control (IACC), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Lane Change Assist (LCA), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Traffic Jam Assist (TJA), and Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB). This is on top of ABS with EBD, ESP, Traction Control, Hill Hold Control, rear parking sensors, tire pressure sensors, and 6 SRS airbags.
The Changan Nevo A05 comes in four colors: White, Cloud Mountain Green, Andes Gray, and Titanium Light Silver Gray. And while it carries a suggested retail price of P 1,195,000, until the end of October, it comes with a cash discount of P 55,000.

ReplyDeleteThere's more on offer for sure but there being no cheaper variant of this means this will only pull/steal away those looking at the premium Seal 5 which (from what I've noticed) is the less in-demand trim.

ReplyDeleteHad my Mazda serviced recently at C5 and paid a visit to Changan's flagship store. They showed me around including their facility and parts warehouse, and I must say I was impressed by how serious Inchcape is in promoting the brand. Hope they succeed and perhaps bring in EZ60 PHEV variant.
