Chery has crossed the two-million-vehicle milestone in record time, selling 2,007,768 vehicles in the first three quarters of 2025—up 14.5 percent year-on-year.
In September alone, Chery sold 280,469 vehicles (+14.7 percent), including 91,590 new energy vehicles (NEVs), which surged 55.4 percent from a year earlier. Overseas sales reached 137,624 units, marking the fifth consecutive month above the 100,000-unit export mark, reaffirming Chery’s position as China’s leading passenger vehicle exporter.
Chery’s NEV sales soared 77.1 percent to 587,545 units year-to-date, placing the brand firmly among China’s top five NEV manufacturers.
Chery’s international expansion also accelerated, with 936,428 vehicles exported between January and September—equivalent to one Chery shipped overseas every 25 seconds.
17.7 million Chery vehicles have found homes around the world, 5.4 million of them outside of China.
In the Philippines, Chery Auto Philippines celebrated its sixth year under United Asia Automotive Group, Inc. (UAAGI).

This event is Chery Auto Philippines’ simple way of saying thank you for being part of our journey since the brand relaunched under UAAGI in 2019,” UAAGI Vice President for Aftersales Lito Landicho said.
