The All-New 2026 Nissan Navara Is Launching This November

On November 19, 2025 Nissan will officially unveil the next generation of Navara. In the lead-up to this unveil, Nissan has released an official teaser photo.

Since its debut, the Navara has evolved from a simple, honest workhorse into one of the most trusted and versatile pickup trucks today.

The all-new Navara is set to draw on this heritage, incorporating design elements that pay homage to previous generations while delivering the advanced capability and technology today’s drivers demand.

Retail sales will start as early as the first half of 2026 in select markets globally.

  1. It already looks as ugly as the Triton. Buti pa sa other markets, facelifted D23 ang makuha nila which looks much better than Triton. Looks like I'm sticking with my 2018 NP300 until a facelift is coming.

    1. Triton is better in all aspects except the front fascia and the fact that the Navara uses coils. Other than that, the Triton is better.

  2. I was about to say the same thing. Hopefully it's not as "unique looking" as the Triton. I bet it will be more expensive though.

  3. So this pickup will still be called Navara? The previous teaser (facelift of current gen) is also called Navara. Will these two different Navaras be sold side-by-side? Or market specific?

    1. Apparantly, the teased facelifted Navara will be the one sold in ASEAN and the rest of the world (except USA which gets the Frontier). First it will be built in Nissan's plant in Mexico in 2025-2026, and then be built in Thailand starting 2026-2027. Only Australia and New Zealand will get the rebadged Triton next fen Navara (4N16 engine), as the current gen Navara (with YS23 engine) will struggle to meet ANCAP safety regulations and NVES emissions regulations.

    2. Philippines will be getting the rebadged Mitsubishi Triton version and not the recycled updated version that Latin American markets would get
Nissan Thailand is set to end the production of the Nissan Navara next year in order to focus more on the production of next generation Nissan Kicks and New Elgrand van,

  4. Though nothing was prticularly bad about the Triton, it didn't move the game forward when it was launched 2 years ago. I wonder what Nissan will do to shake things up with what is essentially a rebadged Triton 🤔

  5. Just wait until the full unveiling. Hard to pass judgement without the actual launch.

  6. Reveal in the Philippines?

  7. id rather have the new navarra based on the triton given the reliability of the mitsu engine alone. The looks will always be subjective to buyers. The current navarra has a rough engine and transmission combo. Mitsu engine and transmission much better

  8. I think it’s a lie to say it is based on Triton. Because that Triton was a rebaged Frontier in the US with just a little tweak. And NAVARA is way better and a more popular brand!

    1. Triton is a completely different car from the D41 Frontier in USA. The D41 Frontier is a Nissan-developed platform, a modified version of the D40 Frontier. The MV Triton, launched in 2023, is a new Mitsubishi-developed platform NOT based on the D41 Frontier. They have very different engine choices, different underchassis components, even different wheel PCD.

  9. It will be based on the triton given nissan's current state

  10. This next gen Navara will apparantly be exclusive to Oceania, based on Thai reports. The Thai Nissan plant isn't giving up on the current gen Navara just yet (even after consolidating their manufacturing plants) and will produce the faclifted D23 Navara there. It would be nice to have the Triton-based Navara here, but if Nissan PH does decide to bring in the old but facelifted Navara, I hope they use the YS23 like the Dongfeng Rich.
