Are These The Specs Of The Philippine Market 2026 Honda CR-V?

Just as the rest of the Philippines is busy welcoming 2026, Honda Cars Philippines is busy working behind the scenes to refresh its best-selling compact SUV, the CR-V. And from the looks of it, this is what we can expect for 2026.

Launched in August 2023, the sixth-generation CR-V debuted the e:HEV full hybrid system for the Philippine market. Three years on, Honda Cars Philippines is keen to build on that by offering both the front- and all-wheel drive system for the first time locally.

For 2026, Honda will offer two e:HEV variants of the CR-V—the CR-V VX e:HEV and the CR-V RS e:HEV AWD. These two variants will have an electrified 2.0-liter 4-cylinder with a combined output of 184 horsepower and 335 Nm of torque. The RS e:HEV will offer the added confidence brought on by the Real Time All-Wheel Drive system.

Those who aren’t too keen on the e:HEV will be glad to know that the 1.5-liter turbo will remain, but only for the base CR-V V Turbo variant. This one makes 190 horsepower and 240 Nm of torque. Likewise, this base model will be the only one offered with the 7-seater configuration as both the VX and RS variants will now be purely 5-seater variants.

Exterior features standard across the line-up include full LED headlights and daytime running lights, sequential front turn signals, roof rails, and 18-inch alloy wheels with 235/60R18 tires. Like before, the RS is visually differentiated thanks to its unique bumpers, piano black accents, active cornering lights, and panoramic sunroof. On the other hand, the V Turbo will get the “HuNT Package.” This gives unique copper-colored accents to the front grille and fog lamps, while adding a silver front lower garnish and running board as well as black wheel arch molding.

Inside, the 2026 CR-V will have smart keyless entry (with a Smart Key Card system for the hybrid variants), a 9-inch display audio system with Google built-in, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, multi-zone climate control (dual for the hybrids, tri-zone for the V Turbo), wireless charger, 8-way power driver’s seat with memory, and a 60/40 split-fold reclining rear seat. Hybrids will also have heads-up display. The CR-V RS e:HEV AWD adds a 12-speaker Bose sound system, 4-way power adjustment for the front passenger, RS-specific seats with red stitching, and of course, sports pedals.

As for safety, Honda Sensing is standard as are 7 SRS airbags, ABS with EBD, stability control, a parking camera (360-degree for the hybrid variants), and tire pressure sensors. Also, Honda has done away with LaneWatch, opting instead for blind spot monitoring across the entire CR-V line-up for 2026.

Currently, the CR-V is offered starting at P 2,100,000 for the V Turbo CVT, going all the way up to P 2,605,000 for the RS e:HEV. For its 2026 update, expect the V Turbo CVT to remain as is, but expect a hefty jump for the new VX e:HEV variant from P 2,290,000 to around P 2.4-million, while the RS e:HEV will probably retail for around P 2.7-million.
