Jetour GAIA Unveils G700 PHEV For P 4.488M; Chooses QC As Its First Dealership

Chinese brands in the Philippines are ushering a new trend after successfully implementing electrification. A premium brand is the rave nowadays. BYD has Denza, Changan has Deepal, GAC has Hyptec, and now Jetour has GAIA.

We’ve seen Jetour become premium locally. They started with Ice Cream and Dashing, and now have plush behemoths in the T1 and T2 SUVs. GAIA is the next step in this that aims to redefine the future of intelligent, electrified SUVs.

Their first offering is the Jetour GAIA G700. This is a plug-in hybrid SUV that delivers up to 904 horsepower and 1,135 Nm of torque thanks to a 2.0-liter turbo engine and dual electric motors. That serious power is complemented by off-road capability. It has 900 mm wading depth, waterproofed engine system, adaptive air suspension with multi-mode damping, variable height adjustment, and 2.5-ton towing capability among others.

The core of the G700 is the GAIA Advanced Vehicle Architecture that has AI support functionality. It helps with torque distribution, advanced off-road capabilities like tank-turn and crab-walk, giving this SUV enhanced maneuverability in tricky terrain.

Like the Ts before it, the G700 combines its rugged prowess with a modern cabin experience. The interior is a visual marvel with the 35.4-inch Skyline screen on top of the dash, a 15.6-inch central touchscreen, a 17.3-inch ceiling-mounted screen for the rear occupants, and an 8.8-inch screen for the rear climate control interface. There’s also an 18-speaker Lexicon Sound System developed by Harman Kardon that has a 900w amplifier.

There’s multi-functional seats with 8-way adjustment for the driver, 4-way adjustment for the front passenger, and 4-way lumbar support for both. The passenger and second-row seats also have 8-mode massage functionality. They also went out of their way to make a built-in fragrance system integrated with ambient lighting for a different sensory experience while in the G700.

Safety isn’t overlooked in the G700. It has 11-airbag system, 12 ultrasonic radars for the Auto Park Assist, Advanced Driver Assist Systems, and a reinforced body structure that is said to withstand up to 15 tons of crush resistance.

The Jetour GAIA G700 PHEV starts at PHP 4,488,000. It can be had in Horizon Blue, Frontier Black, and Himalaya White while the interior has options in Black and Beige Warm. It’s backed by 10-year engine warranty, a 6-year general warranty, and coverage of up to 1,000,000 kilometers.

A day after its debut at the 2026 Manila International Auto Show, Jetour GAIA also opened its first doors in the country. The first Jetour GAIA showroom can be found in Quezon City at 933 North EDSA southbound, a few steps after the MRT North Avenue station.

Present at the event were Jetour and Jetour GAIA Chairman Miguelito Jose, UAAGI Chairman Rommel Sytin, UAAGI Vice Chairman Kenneth Sytin, and Quezon City Vice Mayor Gian Sotto.

The 250 square meter space is built to Jetour GAIA’s standards. It lets you experience the G700 along with GAIA Architecture up close, and see the intelligence and elegance of their would-be offerings.
