Honda Cars PH Introduces Step Up Pay Plan For Select Models

Honda goes from “Joy of Driving” to “Joy of Buying” with their latest promotion. During today’s economic challenges, the Japanese carmaker is introducing a Step Up Pay Plan for select models until July 31, 2026.

In cooperation with Bank of the Philippines Islands, the Step Up Pay Plan offers a flexible payment scheme where monthly amortizations start low and grow along during the latter years.

To further ease the transition into vehicle ownership, the program also offers a comprehensive all-in package financing scheme for 15 and 20 percent down payment options on 60-month terms. And to significantly cut down upfront costs for buyers, BPI will also cover the Personal Property Security Act (PPSA) Service Fees and Insurance for up to P 50,000 each.

The Step Up Pay Plan is applicable to the following models:

  1. So it's like a mild, spread out balloon loan, in a sense. Still, better than the balloon loan. I wish banks in PH would offer "pay what you can" car loans. There will be a minimum, but no cap to the maximum, and gives you the capability to pay more of the principal (if you pay beyond the monthly minimum).
