2027 Nissan Kicks e-Power To Come In 4 Variants For Philippine Market

After being shown off at the Philippine International Motor Show last June and the Bangkok International Motor Show last March, Nissan Philippines is almost ready to commence retail sales of its much awaited all-new Kicks e-Power.

Appearing on the Department of Energy (DOE)’s recognized list of hybrids, the 2027 Kicks e-Power, codenamed “P15” will come in at four variants: the VE, VL, and new variants LE and LE Plus (not including special “Premium” colors).

Confirmed in its filing, the all-new Kicks e-Power will continue to sport Nissan’s trademark series hybrid powertrain. The EM47 AC3 synchronous motor drives the wheels exclusively producing 136 horsepower and 280 Nm of torque. A 1.2-liter 3-cylinder (HR12DE) acts as a gasoline generator producing electricity stored either in the 2.1-kWh lithium-ion battery or sent directly to the electric motor.

The filing doesn’t indicate what sort of features the new Kicks e-Power will get, but it’s worth noting that this 2027 model has a massively changed exterior and interior necessitating a new model code designation.

In Thailand where the Kicks e-Power has already been launched, it features a leather-wrapped steering wheel, Zero Gravity front seats with heat-reflecting synthetic leather seats, a 6-way power adjustable driver’s seat and a camera-based Intelligent Rearview Mirror. It also sports a new gauge cluster and a larger infotainment screen spanning up to 12.3 inches.

Nissan has made ProPilot a standard feature, at least in Thailand. This means features such as Lane Keeping Assist (LKA) with Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC) with Stop and Go are added to its comprehensive ADAS suite which already include forward collision warning with autonomous emergency braking, blind spot monitoring with rear automatic emergency braking.
