Audi Philippines is ushering in what it says is “A New Era” as it debuts an expanded range of hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs). The all-new line-up reflects the brand’s Vorsprung durch Technik (Advancement through Technology) philosophy.
Joining the Audi Q3 Hybrid and Q5 Hybrid which were launched earlier this year, Audi Philippines brings the higher trim variant of the Q5 Hybrid (Q5 S line) as well as a pair of high-performance S models, the Audi SQ5 Sportback and the S5 sedan.
Leading the launch is Audi’s best-selling SUV, the Audi Q5. Now available in the S line trim, it gets exclusive exterior styling elements together with 20-inch alloy wheels. Inside, it has similar exclusive interior appointments along with a panoramic sunroof and a Bang & Olufsen 3D Premium Sound System. Like the Q5 Premium, the Q5 S line is powered by a 2.0-liter TFSI 4-cylinder with Hybrid Drive helping it produce 240 horsepower and 340 Nm of torque. A 7-speed S tronic transmission routes the power through the front wheels.
For those who want a higher level of performance (and all-electric range), Audi Philippines also presented the SQ5 and S5 for the first time.
Both models feature a 3.0-liter TFSI V6 engine with Hybrid Drive putting out 391 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque. Power is routed through the brand’s famed quattro all-wheel drive system via a 7-speed S tronic transmission.
Arriving in the Sportback body style (the regular SUV body style can still be ordered), the SQ5 Sportback combines the practical nature of an SUV with the sure-footed characteristics of a high-performance sedan. It features an adaptive air suspension system as well as advanced digital technologies making it suitable for both everyday use and spirited driving.
Some of the key features found in the SQ5 include a panoramic glass roof, power front adjustable and ventilated sport seats with nappa upholstery, a 3-zone climate control system, and an ADAS suite.
For those who want something more uncompromising, the Audi S5 sedan marks the latest evolution of the brand’s premium sports sedan. The S5 blends engaging performance with refined luxury thanks to its power adjustable front sport seats with memory function for the driver, a heads-up display, panoramic glass roof, and a Bang & Olufsen 3D Premium Sound System. It also packs intelligent driver assistance as well.
Whether it’s the Q3, Q5, SQ5, or S5, Audi’s latest generation of hybrid technology works seamlessly with sophisticated digital interfaces, comprehensive safety systems, and premium craftsmanship to deliver a driving experience that is more efficient, connected, and intuitive.
This new era for Audi Philippines signals the beginning of a next chapter, bringing together an all-new portfolio of hybrid vehicles that redefine premium mobility in the country be it a compact luxury SUV, a midsized models, to its high-performance variants.

Are Audis still good and reliable these days? They used to be very famous with their R8, Quattro SUVs, and A4, A6 sedans. But not hearing much about the brand nor seeing their cars on the road much lately.
