The Philippines is one of the top three export markets of the Ford Ranger Raptor, joining Australia and South Africa, proving the performance pickup truck’s sustained popularity and continued demand among Filipino customers.
As of May 2026, cumulative production of the high-performance pickup truck has breached the 215,000-unit mark since the Ranger Raptor was launched in 2018. Eight years later, the Ranger Raptor has continued to be the benchmark for high-performance off-road pickups—blending its off-road racing DNA, cutting-edge technology, and world-class engineering.
Conceived as a highly specialized, low-volume performance truck, the Ranger Raptor captured the public’s imagination. Since then, production capacity has been increased to meet the strong global demand.
While its design and engineering were done by Ford’s product development team in Australia, the very first production Ford Ranger Raptor rolled off the Ford Thailand Manufacturing (FTM) plant on June 25, 2018. Today, FTM remains the primary global production and export hub, shipping the Ranger Raptor to 106 countries worldwide.
The Ranger Raptor’s story went full circle as Ford introduced the nameplate in 2023 for the North American market, launching production at the Michigan Assembly Plant in the United States.
“The Ranger Raptor has completely redefined what a high-performance pickup can be, and its sustained demand in the country is a testament to its unmatched capabilities. This milestone shows that Filipino enthusiasts truly appreciate the world-class engineering and sheer capability that Ford Performance builds into every Raptor. It has transcended from being just a pickup truck and has become a lifestyle symbol and a badge of success for a rapidly growing community of proud owners across the country,” says Pedro Simoes, managing director, Ford Philippines.
In the Philippines, the Ranger Raptor line-up comes in both diesel and gasoline variants.
The top-of-the-line Ranger Raptor 3.0 V6 sports a twin-turbo EcoBoost engine producing 397 horsepower and 583 Nm of torque mated to a 10-speed automatic with an anti-lag system (in Baja mode). It also boasts of a variant-exclusive Ford Performance-developed Fox 2.5-inch Live Valve internal bypass shock absorbers as well as front and rear electronic locking differentials.
On the other hand, the Ranger Raptor 2.0 Bi-Turbo Diesel puts out 210 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque mated to a 10-speed automatic with a full-time all-wheel drive system with a rear locking differential. It also has Fox 2.5-inch internal bypass shock absorbers.

it just shows na mayayabang mga pinoy, porma > practicality LOL. Kaya hindi nadadala kei cars dito, walang market.

DeleteOne of the reason for this is yung state ng mga roads natin sa city at provinces, plus yung mga humps na d standard.
DeleteLOL true. porma now > low downpayment+60 months of payments+50% depreciation later
DeleteI own a V6 Raptor and had the casa remove the Raptor side decals prior to delivery because I found it too loud and tacky for my taste and I wanted it to be a little bit more lowkey, a IYKYK kind of vehicle if you get what I mean. Do I consider it a "pang yabang" or "porma" car like you insinuated? No, far from it actually. I have other more expensive cars for that. I bought mine because I wanted a truck I can use to haul stuff once in a while. Why the V6? Because why not. Why are you so bothered about people buying Raptors instead of small cars like the Avanza or the Xpander (which are somewhat the local equivalent of kei cars)? Probably because you can't afford one yourself.
DeleteV6 Raptor rich kid — relax. You’re not the only person here who can afford expensive cars.
DeleteThe difference is I don’t need to list mine in a comment section just to prove a point. If your best argument is “I have more expensive cars” and “you probably can’t afford one,” then the Raptor decals weren’t the loudest thing about your setup — your insecurity was.
And if, in your opinion, hauling groceries and shopping bags requires a V6 Raptor, then salute. But that oversized truck is still occupying way too much real estate on our already narrow roads.
P.S. I hope you're not the gray raptor who dinged my audi
You do realize that you started this whole thing with that mayayabang mga pinoy porma > practicality jab and all of a sudden I'm the insecure one?
DeleteAnd you really thought that "P.S. I hope you're not the gray raptor who dinged my audi" flex you did back there was going to impress us?
You do you, bro.
Wala ka lang pambili.

ReplyDeleteI have a Raptor but the diesel one. I got mine as i need it for the farm and personal use. On the level of the other pick up, the suspension is the best in its class but the engine has to be monitored much more diligently. Overall, it's a great pick up with the ride that is very exceptional but you cannot load a lot on the back, only 650Kg max.
ReplyDeleteang nag stereotype sa mga raptor usually insecure. the fact thay yabang and porma is the first thing that comes to their minds. anybody can buy whatever car they want kahit luma or bago. ang raptor may pros and cons like any other cars. free to decide wag pa cute at mag judge. kung ayaw mo pasukat wag ka manukat ng iba
ReplyDeleteNag iiyakan mga hater ng ford dito pero vios lang kaya nilang bilhin
