After opening the order books for its flagship X9 luxury MPV (and L03 SUV), Xpeng Philippines has revealed the official prices of both models ahead of its grand launch on September 25, 2026.
Representing the range-topping configurations of their respective model lines, the Xpeng X9 with the Second Row Premium Seat Package is priced at P 4,058,000, while the Xpeng L03 EV RWD Long Range Ultra retails for P 2,058,000.
Reservations are now open at P 25,000 and P 10,000 for the X9 and L03, respectively through Xpeng Philippines’ official Facebook and Instagram pages (DM them to receive instructions). Upon vehicle delivery, buyers will receive P 10,000 in EV charging credits and an exclusive Xpeng First Circle Gift Set.
“We have received strong interest in the X9 and L03, with many customers asking for the official prices so they can finalize their purchase plans or secure their preferred model ahead of the launch,” said Katoon Su, Country Manager of Xpeng Philippines. “By announcing the prices early and opening reservations, we are giving customers the information and opportunity they need to make their decision with confidence.”
As earlier revealed by Xpeng Philippines, the Xpeng X9 is an all-electric 7-seater flagship MPV developed for executive travel, family journeys, and everyday mobility.
At the heart of its premium passenger experience are two Grand Zero Gravity seats with 18-way electric adjustment, powered leg supports, four-way headrests, heating, ventilation, memory, and 16-point massage. The cabin also features a five-zone climate control, a hot and cold electric refrigerator, a 21.4-inch rear entertainment display, and a 27-speaker Xopera audio system, creating a private and comfortable environment for longer journeys.
Despite measuring more than 5.3 meters long, the X9 remains easy to maneuver through its active rear-wheel steering system, which gives it a minimum turning radius of 5.4 meters. Its powered Magic Third Row also folds and stows beneath the floor at the touch of a button, expanding cargo capacity from 721 liters with all seven seats in use to as much as 2,554 liters when additional carrying space is needed.
The X9 features a 110 kWh NCM battery providing up to 615 kilometers of range (WLTP). Its 800-volt system, on the other hand, supports peak DC charging of up to 542 kW, replenishing its battery from 10 to 80 percent in just 12 minutes.
The more interesting bit is the Xpeng L03 EV RWD Long Range Ultra which has more of its key features outlined by Xpeng Philippines.
Designed by Juanma Lopez, Xpeng’s Vice President of Design (of Ferrari fame), the L03 has a SUV coupe styling. While compact in its proportions, the Xpeng L03 sports plenty of interior and cargo room, anchored by a 102-liter front trunk, a 539-liter rear luggage compartment, and 37 storage areas scattered throughout the cabin.
The Xpeng L03 EV RWD Long Range Ultra uses a rear-wheel drive electric platform and 69.2 kWh (nominal) LFP battery providing up to 480 kilometers of range when tested under the WLTP testing cycle. The 400-volt 3C charging system can fast charge it from 10 to 80 percent in just 20 minutes. It also has Vehicle-to-Load functionality.
Setting the Xpeng L03 apart from other compact SUVs, it’s powered by three advanced Xpeng AI Turing chips with a combined computing power of 2,250 tera operations per second. Two support intelligent driving functions, while the third powers the smart cabin. Flexible parking assistance can recognize available spaces without relying solely on painted lines and automatically execute the position selected by the driver.
The L03’s XOS 6.0 operating system integrates Google Maps, natural voice interaction, connected functions, and vehicle controls through a 15.6-inch 2.5K central display, complemented by a 26.8-inch windshield head-up display.
Both the Xpeng X9 and Xpeng L03 come with Xpeng App connectivity—an all-in-one vehicle hub that links to each model through Bluetooth or mobile data connectivity. Owners can remotely lock or unlock the doors, adjust the cabin climate, check charging progress and tire pressure, and locate the vehicle using its horn and lights. The app also supports remote parking assistance, allowing users to maneuver the vehicle into or out of tight parking spaces from outside the cabin.
During its Philippine launch at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, Xpeng will introduce the company’s vision of Physical AI for All. Together with the official local debut of the Xpeng X9 and Xpeng L03, the launch will showcase Iron, Xpeng’s humanoid robot and the Aridge Land Aircraft Carrier, a modular land vehicle equipped with a detachable electric aircraft.

Will Xpeng launch VLA 2.0 as well?
ReplyDeleteHardware-wise, yes. The software will arrive via OTA at a later time.
DeleteBoth the X9 and LO3 appear to be overpriced even as Xpeng vehicles have good reviews overseas.
ReplyDeleteThe local market is quite price and value sensitive, and Xpeng is coming into a market with lots of established Chinese brands and models with more upmarket models soon to be launched.
The X9 is utilizing an NCM battery which has been proven to be inferior to the LFP battery in our Tropical climate, and road conditions.
What gives with the NCM battery Xpeng?
Although the LO3 is published to have a WLTP 480Km range, it costs around P400 - P450K more than the other Chinese BEV models its attempting to compete with.
It will take a whole lot of convincing to justify a price difference of nearly half a million Pesos.
Many were considering the LO3, but at P2.058M (less maximum P100K cash discount) it just isn't a value for money proposition.
Retail price for a comparable model in China is around Php1.3M for the LO3.
DeleteThe Mona series should be the mainstream/cheaper line of Xpeng.
But, they want to position the brand here as more premium than mainstream chinese brands, hence more expensive than say Geely EX5 and BYD Atto 3.
Id wager no one will buy the LO3 at that price, until they offer a 300K discount perhaps.
At Php2M price point buyers of chinese brands choose BYD Tang DMIs
They may have missed the opportunity to position the LO3 below the 2M price point. At its current pricing, buyers already willing to spend around 2M on an EV may also consider (and are most likely capable to) stretching to 2.3M–2.5M for larger alternatives.
DeleteThe Xpeng L03 initially available at launch is the TOTL RWD Ultra trim, which will be capable of VLA (their version of FSD). Xpeng will launch cheaper trims of the L03 without VLA capability at a later date.
DeleteAlso, almost all brands that offer long-range/performance versions of their EVs use NMC. Its energy density is still unmatched. As far as I know, only BYD bucks this trend because they've gone all-in on LFP.

DeleteOne can argue that NCM or LFP batteries is a matter of preference. Having said that, Tesla is retorted to making the switch to new generation LFP batteries which are now much more energy dense per kg.
Tesla is not willing to publicly admit that the NCM batteries are really less safe than LFP batteries. Also, NCM batteries in Tesla's show low energy retention in the cold Eastern States.
Cold temperatures are much less of a problem for LFP batteries not to mention LFP batteries do much better than NCM batteries in warm climates like that of the Philippines.
Yes NCM batteries are for high performance EVs, but I don't believe Chinese manufacturer's would put only one electric motor in a vehicle and call that vehicle "High Performance" especially if it takes that single electric motor vehicle more than 6 seconds to get from 0-100Kph.
If I recall correctly Uly stated in his Xpeng feature video (Uly, please correct me if I'm wrong) that the TOTL LO3 2WD unit that will 1st be launched here will do 0-100Kph in 6.6 seconds
LFP batteries will also become obsolete sooner than later as so Many EV manufacturers are claiming that Solid State, Sodium(Salt), etc. batteries that are more energy dense per Kg., charge significantly faster, and cost much less to manufacture will be in some EVs by year end. This remains to be seen.
The LO3 is rumored to come with VL2 Hardware which Xpeng Philippines commits to activate later on as an OTA Update so lets wait and see.
A family here claims they are using Tesla's FSD on their 3 of their Teslas, but have not witnessed it myself. Also, Tesla's FSD V.15 which Tesla claims is much much better than the previous version is coming out soon.
My apologies if the above is lengthy.

Solid state batteries are not coming out by year end. Most of the big players have commercial production of their semi solid batteries targeted by 2030.
